The Reds are now tied for first! Woohoo! Awesome. Purely awesome. We are spoiled. The Reds and the Bengals (and Xavier, yeah I know hush UC fans I am biased).

Now the Reds need to take it home. Stloo has struggled recently, and the Reds, my Reds, are playing well.

You have got to love it! Love it! I say!!

I am shoveling the crow down my throat as I type!

Keep it up boys. Who needs the stupid wild card?

How great would it be if the Reds and the NL West wild card candidate) both passed the Cards leaving them in the cold? It would be like the Steelers not making the playoffs!

Unfortunately I see this a little different. The Cards are trying to hand the division title to the Reds because the Reds have not played up to the level of a division champ. The Cards could have ran away with the division so many times this season seem to have been reluctant to do it. So now it is up to Cincy to grab the opportunity prove they are worthy of the pennent. I still am waiting for them to collapse letting St Louis take the division title and then losing the wild card spot. Sorry to be so pessimistic but I am basing this on the past 11 seasons. But I hope I am wrong. I truly do.

first i am very pleased with what they are doing this season . to me they are to inconsistent . i mean there is some games where they look great and then there the games that look like they have no clue of what there doing . i think that is our coaches or manager not having these guys ready and fundamentally sound to play . i my catch some heat over this but i think narron is not the guy he makes some really stupid decisions with his pitchers in tight games . like letting majewski who was hurt at the time give up the tying run in the 8th and then keep him out there to allow 3-4 more to be put up for good measure . costing us the game or in their last Indians game we were tied starting pitcher mays is gassed and has loaded the bases hafner is up and the pitcher is on deck . so instead of bringing in another pitcher or even pitching around hafner giving up 1 run and being down by 1 with still more innings to play , but what does narron do he lets mays who is gassed go after and try to challenge hafer. what happen hafner put the damn ball in the seats for a grandslam and now the f**king game is out of reach . my point is that if we had a manager than knew how to mange his team we could have a nice lead in the division

What, you aren't used to this yet, army? The Reds have been doing this all year. Fortunately, so have most other teams in the NL. Nobody's been able to sustain much of anything. But the Reds are still in as good a position as anyone. Mark my words, it will end up coming down to the last couple of games.

You'd think I'd be use to it, but then again, when was the last time we were able to still root for a chance to go to the playoffs at THIS point in the season ?? GO REDS !!!

WHODEY !!!

Thats right Army keep thinking positive thoughts!!!! :sure: Go REDS......

It wasn't so much losing 3 straight games in a row, as it was they way they lost the three games. They looked pretty sad in losing these 3 games, scoring 2 runs in 3 games against, Morris, Lowry and Cain. Three average pitchers at best this season.

On the bright side, I get to see the Reds this weekend as they come to San Diego.

Yeah, losses are much harder to take when they come at the expense of your strength (offense).
