Bengalbob
I was thinking about this year's roster and it hit me that I'm not sure I'd trade our roster for any other team's roster, especially if you included the coaches (I wouldn't have said this last year). If you talked about individual units (defense, offense, ST, LBs, etc.), there might certain groups you'd trade for another team's group, and certainly players that you'd trade. But I don't think I would trade the entire team for anyone else's team. The only ones worth considering:(1) Carolina -- Nice roster and coaching staff with a lot of stand out players and a real will to win. This one would be tempting, but I'd have to say that Carson over Delhomme tips the scales.(2) Bears -- Great defense (I'd love to have a great defense!), but the offense and coaching staff have too many holes. I'm not in the mood to try and win 10-7 and 13-10 games all year.(3) Patriots -- Hard argue with their recent track record and the quality of their coaching staff (lost their two top assistants last year and barely missed a beat). Maybe a little long in the tooth for my taste though.(4) Seahawks -- Mmmmm . . . nah. I'll take a pass. Hassleback and Holmgren, while proven NFL commidities, just don't light my world on fire. I'll keep what I got. After that I can't think of another team worth considering. Denver -- nope. Indy -- no thanks. Squeelers -- hell no! Tampa Bay, Dallas, San Diego, Miami, etc. -- Are you kidding?Of course no one trades full teams and coaching staffs. I just thought I'd mention it as there have been too many 4-12 seasons between now and the last time I could say this!Maybe I'm being too much of a homer, but I'll take the hand we've been dealt and play it gladly!Thoughts? redsbengalsbucks
There have been times in the past when the rumor of the Bengals leaving town has come up that I have pondered this ?I would not continue to be a fan of the moved franchise!!I would not ever become a Browns fan!!I already am a Bears fan, they are my NFC team.I would have to seriously consider the Colts, Jaguars, Chiefs or the Texans as my AFC team.I hope I never have to make this decision.I would never trade my Bengals team for another willingly, no matter how bad/good they are!!! I guess I'm not asking about trading team loyalties, I'm only asking about trading the players and coaches. If the Bengals announced that they had traded all of their coaches and players to Carolina for Carolina's players and coaches, would you be happy? Four years ago if we had traded everyone to the Patriots for their players/coaches I would have been extatic to have all those Patriots in Bengals unis! Today, no way . . . Wraith
Can't think of a single team with this much YOUNG talent, so nope. Call me a homer but this is my team and I'll live and die with it, thank you very much.I wouldn't trade Carson for any other QBI would have LOVED to trade Dillon for Shaun Alexander, as was rumored before the 2000 draft (Dillon was supposed to be going to Seattle for their 19th selection and we were going to draft Shaun Alexander which made sense because Dillon was a Seattle guy and Alexander was a Cincinnati guy) but trade Rudi....yeah but only for Tomlinson and I would not trade Jeremi Johnson for any other FB.Trade our WR corp, O-Line, LBers, DBs? are you nuts?D-Line hower...yeah Indy, NY Giants, and Jacksonville come to mind hope they can prove me wrong.Oh, and I wouldn't even think about trading our coaching staff, what Marvin has done to resurrect this franchise has been nothing short of miraculous and I couldn't think of any other coach that could have accomplished the same results with what he had to work with coming in. Marvin Lewis should win coach of the year for any year he finishes above .500 as a Bengals coach.

ArmyBengal
Trade our current team for another current team ??NO, no way, no chance... As stated, young talent. This team is going to be around for a long time...WHODEY !!!
Jet23
Nope, I am enjoying the process of watching this team grow. We watched as the Offense was put together, now we get to enjoy the transformation of the Defense. With even a little bit of luck (meaning no major injures and players progressing as expected), this will be a top 5 defense by next year. There will be players cut from the Bengals that will end up starting for other teams. Their roster is really rounding into shape.
ChadJohnson-85
I'd trade our defense for the Jags defense any day.
ArmyBengal
Would we trade our "Team" as in whole team... Sure there are bits and pieces I would trade off, but as for the concept of the whole team, I still say NO WAY !!!WHODEY !!!

Bgal
If the Bengals traded the team, I would become a fan of the team they traded with. It just wouldn't be the same knowing that we randomly had some other team in stripes while our team and our coaches were playing somewhere else. It's easy to recover from losing 1 player here and there... but everyone at once?? It's not just the uniforms I root for... it's the players.
