WhoDey42
So I've never seen the first Clerks movie before, but i decided to go see Clerks II tonight and it was probably the funniest movie I have seen in years. I was laughing my ass off throughout the entire movie. I definatly recommend it. But if you are easily offended, you might want to pass. There were a few people that walked out during a certain part of the movie (if you see the movie, you can probably guess what part it is). Go check it out! Stripes
I was worried it'd be a terrible sequel to a great movie, a la Dumb and Dumberer. I might have to give it a go, then.

bengalboomer7
Haven't seen the movie yet but all of Kevin Smith's movies rock. Clerks, Mall Rats, Chasing Amy, Dogma, they are all funny as hell
WhoDey42
actually i rented clerks and watched it last night. It was good, but I actually liked the 2nd better."37?...in a row!?" hahaha
redsbengalsbucks
Have not seen the second movie, but the first was far from being a great movie. It was funny in spots and creative enough to stand out as different. An average movie at best, but good enough to make me want to see Clerks 2. But, the second one is much better.
Ox
Really? I mean really? I dunno man, to me it seems like blasphemy to make a sequel to clerks. That movie was great, and a cult classic. I guess I may still go see Clerks 2, but reluctantly.
HairOnFire
Dogma is one of my favorite movies of all time, but IMHO most of the other movies Kevin Smith has made are pretty much hit or miss. Long moments of lameness surrounding hilarious profanity. That said, remaking Clerks seems inspired to me if only for the opportunity to explore the "Where are they now" angle.
