smith288
I dont like getting these headcases but with Nicholson, it appears he could have been trying to get some of his own stuff back and Booker filed a theft report because some he claimed it was his...who knows. Not worth the grief in my opinion though. How hard is it to NOT point guns at people or climb behind the wheel intoxicated or high?? Why is this so fugging difficult to these people?!?!?!?!??!?
jditty47
have u ever been high? if u have u know why he does it. lol but on a seriouser (made that word up) note, i do agree that nicholson's case is a joke. i think he'll get off with a slap on the wrist. henry though will definately get a minimum of a 4 game suspension...mb 8 games or the season. bengal4life
A Defense lawyer from the area was on 700 and said that Henry could get off this charge due to the breathalizer only being .012 over the legal limit. His defense could be that the police don't calibrate the Breathalizer's. This is all in speculation. It sounds good but with Henry's past I'm not sure there is much to his defense. HoTbOy
The Bengals must be thinking about getting rid of CHenry if they are enquiring about what there options are...I as everyone else loves what CHenry does on the field, but off the field issues should count for something too...ANicholson's situation maybe different, he may not have done much at all, so I will wait and see what happens, if CHenry gets no jail time for the gun incident he may be allright, but it sounds as if the Bengals have had enough.... Stripes
http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/news/story?id=2474743Marvin addressed the media about what he's done with Henry and Nicholson so far. It's pretty much what you'd expect Marvin to do, and I am pleased.
Kazkal
I woulden't say cut both of them. if anyone should be its henry.... they could do it to set a example so hopfully AJ prooves not as stupid as chris
ShulaSteakhouse
According to Lance, as I suspected, Henry is not going to be a Bengal for long, he's done in stripes. He'll avoid any major legal trouble or jail time - but his behavior and inability to follow Marvin's advice has pushed Marvin to the point of no return apparently. This seemed obvious when the Bengals' made an inquiry to the league shortly after his DUI, about their options with him.At least AJ is hanging in there, I am hopeful he'll be a quality LB for this team. schweinhart
Half dozen of one, six of the other....Makes no real difference. Henry was a contributor last year and showed well but this latest brush really dims his chances of even being able to play for at least part of this season. There's others who should be able to play well enough in Henry's place. Nicholson was in a fight for a spot anyway but either way, these diversions won't impact the team or the season. The big issues are the health of Palmer and Madieu. As those 2 go so too will the season to a large extent.
bengalboomer7
Here's the reason I just won't defend these guys, why I'm suprised so many people do. First, imagine if you got yourself into this same scenario as one of these guys have. First of all, I'd lose my job IMMEDIATELY, and without the ability to file a stinking greivance. In Henry's case, I would even had a chance to commit this last DUI because I would have still been in jail in Florida. I just can't take the double standard. You mean to tell me if I rob a guy and Chris Henry robs a guy, he shouldn't go to jail cause he can run fast?I wonder how good a criminal defense is if all you cay is"Well, this athlete did it, and he got off" Maybe I could use that as an excuse the way people do with TV. Sorry about the murder, I thought it was OK cause Ray Lewis did it.
