redsbengalsbucks
When will everyone realize that if the Offense was in need of a pass catching TE, then the Coach would have already picked one up.If this team was geared toward that style offense, it is my opinion that JJ would be seeing alot more passes thrown his way during the season. He would be going out on routes and the blocking TE would have Carson's protection blocking duty. It seems on most passing downs the Bengals dont even have a two back set, this team is geared toward middle to long pass routes with WR as primary targets, dont forget the grinding running game that makes this all possible. This TE talk is getting old and untill they make a move or pick one of the UDFA's to make the team I for one am done with it. TJJackson
This is about the third time you've tried to call me out I don't much care if it is the third or three hundred thousandth time. You tell people to stop talking about a relevant subject, like, oh, I don't know, tight ends, and I will explain to you how the following two opinions are legitimate or notA) my opinion is that the Bengals don't need a top notch tight endlegit opinion, fine, no problem. Anyone can agree, disagree, etc. Typical board fodder. my opinion is that no one should be talking about tight ends on this boardnot legit, and this is what in essence you were saying. Given that you are a mod here, I would think you would know better. Expressing your opinion that we don't need a tight end is one thing, but telling everyone here in no uncertain terms (with the added weight of you being a mod) that we should not be talking about tight ends is seriously wrong. Sure, it's an opinion, but it is an opinion that in essence we should not be talking about football on this, a forum designed specifically for talking about footballSome other esteemed poster here wrote earlier that we should all "play nice".I have the right to type anything i friggin want as long as I follow Bengalszone rules. As a mod, you're probably held to a higher standard, or at least nominally would be on any given internet forum. I don't claim to know enough about the board owner to tell whether his policies are less or more rigid than that. In any case, a board mod should not be telling people that they can't be talking about a purely football topic. Its ludicrous! It's what this board is EXPRESSLY intended for!Might I suggest if you don't like what I type YOU skip it.Not when you're acting in this threatening fasionI have a right to my opinion just like you do.You certainly do, but should you even be here at all, much less a mod, if you feel people should not be discussing a football topic? That was the opinion you expressed. Should someone who doesn't want people discussing football topics even ever log in to a football-related discussion board? If you paid attention and read as much as you claim to do you'd realize it's a joke.It wasn't stated as such. Perhaps you should include smilies or other indications in such messages that you are joking.
Stripes
Some other esteemed poster here wrote earlier that we should all "play nice". Yeah, I said that. Boomer has every right to say what he wants within the forum rules' limits as he stated. You also have every right to object to what he says if you feel it is out of line. Please though, use PMs for that, as it makes it very difficult to get a thread back on track.I'll try. If we were to sign Graham and he were to be the starter, that could provide us with some semi-new options for Reggie Kelly. I've thought for a while that he could make a good H-back type player, especially in the red-zone. I think he'd be a better backup fullback than Luchey as well, and it'd save a roster spot. andybren
What year does reggies contract go up?reggie wayne is signed to a long time deal. the deal got done in feb.I suspect he's referring to Reggie Kelly, the Bengals' starting tight end. Since it's a tight end thread on a Bengals website. But I could be wrong. Reggie Kelly signed a 4 year deal before the 2003/4 season. So he's got 1 more year. You're not debating somebody's opinion, but whether or not that opinion was phrased in a way that would discourage other people from expressing theirs. And ironically, this comes from a person who is so forcefully extreme in his opinions that he leaves no room for debate. Might I also add that if a mod wanted to shut down a discussion, he wouldn't say "stop talking", he would just close the topic. And even if his intention was to shut down a discussion (using either method) do you really think it would work? This mini-debate is personal. Not football related. Not board related. Not even in the most meta sense possible.Move on.

West Coast Bengal
So if Daniel Graham ends up signed, he'll be the 4th player that I had on the bengals at one point in my Madden game within the last few years. I signed Herring before we signed him, I signed Sam Adams, For one short season, I had Chatman. that would be just straight up weird! And for the record, Herring did WAYYYY better on the game
