DuffMan
http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/news/story?id=2434536Supposedly Kyle Turkey (ex-pro bowl offensive tackle) is trying-out in miami as a TE after back problems forced him into a 2 year period out of the league and in recovery and therapy, where he lost like 40-50lbs (from 309). The bengals coaches seem to really want TEs that can block....so why not look into it? On a realistic note if the guy's problems weren't serious his phone would be ringing off the hook with teams looking for a veteran tackle. Also I don't think anyone knows if he can catch....or run. While we're on the subject does anyone know anything about Daniel Graham (Pats TE) wanting to be traded or let go? I think i heard people mention that and if its true we should be all over him. The guy was one of the best TEs coming out of college when he did and the Pats were pretty stacked at the position throughout his career. Would the Pats take Graham for Kelley Washington straight up? ShulaSteakhouse
I'd love to have Graham, hasn't reached his potential in NE yet and isn't used enough up there. I thought he was a FA and they re-signed him recently though? Could be wrong. But apparently with the all rookie FA's signed, they aren't planning on going the trade or vet FA route. BengalChamps
The trade of Squirrel for Graham is real interesting and doable except for one thing:Cheech is unstable and unreliable right now. There is no way ML goes into the season w/o a proven, backup in the slot. Thats why Squirrel got the activation in CleveHOLE last year. We Have Tab and chatmen if something happens to henry + if we get really desprit mccneal can step in I really see no future for Kdub as a bengal(I hate saying this because I love the squirrel dance) but when a 3rd-6th WR refuses to play special teams he isen't worth the spot

I agree that it would seem to be a win/win situation as long as he is an upgrade at the position.
