Andy was a standout in HS and he led Mt. St. Joseph in recpetions and yardage during all four seasons there.

Also listed in the article was the following about another Elder grad, Ricky Brown.

"Former Boston College linebacker Ricky Brown, who also played at Elder, signed a free-agent contract with Oakland."

He was someone that I thought the Bengals might look at as a safety prospect. He has had some leg injuries of late but he is a very fast guy. I was happy to see him get a shot somewhere.

Note: no Henderson, per Hobson.

I'm sorry, but after wading through this needless Henderson vs. Rucker crap I think I could embrace the idea of Henderson taking his incredible gifts to some other teams practice squad.

Several sources have reported on Henderson signing with the Bengals

I am guessing Hobson was provided an incomplete list

If he was signed, Hobson would have been given the info, I'm sure.

Since I haven't seen any reports of anyone else signing him, I have to think that either reports of the Bengals signing him were premature, and that a la Wilkerson last year there's a bidding war going on for his services; or that his signing was pending a physical that he failed (or has yet to take). Of course, there's always the possibility that he has simply pulled a Munoz and decided that since he wasn't drafted, he ought to get on with his life.

Henderson

The Bengals have signed DE Eric Henderson of Georgia Tech and RB Terrence Whitehead of Oregon as college free agents.

Henderson (6-2, 270; hometown is New Orleans, La.) signed a two-year contract, while Whitehead (5-10, 209; Los Angeles, Calif.) signed a one-year deal. The Bengals, who announced the signing of 15 CFAs on Friday, now have signed 17 CFAs. The CFA signees will have their first work with the team during the May 13-15 minicamp for rookies and eligible first-year players at Paul Brown Stadium.
