FLDEVIL
Just a comparison of a DE's....one taken in the first, the other in the third:Tamba Hali : (6-2 5/8, 263) ran his 40s in 4.86 and 4.88. Had a 29½-inch vertical jump, 8-foot-10 broad jump, 4.31 short shuttle, 11.88 long shuttle, 7.28 three-cone drill, and 18 lifts. Frostee Rucker : (6-3¼, 261) ran his 40s in 4.80 and 4.81. Had a 9-foot-7 long jump, 35-inch vertical jump, 4.32 short shuttle, and 7.23 three-cone drill. He began his college career at Colorado State before transferring to USC. Again ...these are just measurables.....but it appears the Chiefs actually made the reach........

Bobcat Bengal
How many reps did he get?
derekshank
He is quick because he played LB before switching to DE. I can't call Hali a reach, simply because he was such a work-horse for Penn State. He'll continue to produce above his measurables just like he did in college. As for Frostee, I'm waiting to hear it from Marvin... but I'm getting awfully suspicious that this is a future OLB in the 3-4. Something I have been preaching against for 2 years now... but Marvin keeps picking these kinds of guys for a reason.

This guy doesn't look good as a 4-3 end and can't play 4-3 LB. If we're switching to a 3-4, then this looks good as a "fit" pick.

I got to believe this pick is just as Marvin said, adding depth to a position that might lose J.S. next season. Marvin has said he wants a versatile defense that can give lots of looks. This kid has played linebacker so he knows what playing is space is all about. He can be what Marvin always wants in a player, versatile. That sounds like a prime example of Marvin "saying all the right things." Frostee just doesn't look like another Madieu kind of reach, for versatility's sake. I'd say Marvin's plans with this guy are bit deeper, though I won't jump on the 3-4 wagon quite yet.
ShulaSteakhouse
Geathers and Justin are both the same size as he is - so yes he will/can play a 4-3 DE - not sure why people think he's too small?
Spain
Damn he looks like a black waterboy to me. Watch the film on him. He is running around like a mad man. Running around people. Its going to be like two Tazmanian devils coming at oposing QBs. Hey Im going to call the combo, uh the frosty water boys. This guy will impact before the other picks. Just like what hapened to water boy. OH but wait he might not be a numb nuts and hold out. They will use him to rush the passer at least. He could be a starter for us in our new 3-4. Guess Marv wasnt going to pay Arrington when you can find one in the draft.
