Strengths:

Athletic with good speed and quickness...Has good range and a burst...Does a nice job in the open field and in pursuit...Versatile player with experience at linebacker...Relatively productive and makes a lot of plays behind the line.

Weaknesses:

Undersized and doesn't have the bulk you look for...Needs to hit the weights and get stronger...Might be a bit of a 'tweener...Struggles to locate the ball...Is not stout at the point of attack...Has a inconsistent motor...Plays with poor leverage.

Notes:

Began his career at Colorado St. where he redshirted as a linebacker but never actually played before transferring to USC...Might have to move to outside linebacker...Lacks ideal measurables but he can definitely rush the passer.

Ranked 22nd DE o_O

Wow teams must hate ko

An short, undersized DE who "struggles to find the ball" and "lacks measurables" and has an "inconsistent motor".

Said another way, he probably was going to be available as a undrafted free agent

Looks like Mike Brown has taken over the draft room. This draft stinks to high heaven.

The Bengals seem to have reached with both of their last two picks. Obviously these two were targeted for one reason or another.

Frostee's fast and will be a situational pass rusher, which is fine, but geesh, he would've been there in the 4th.

Draft day one grade; C-

I trust they see something in JJ, Whitworth and Frostee, that some others do not.

At least he's 6-3+ and nearly 270 and played at a top program for a few seasons. We needed DEs badly....but i also contend that St. Louis is having the draft everyone here wants.

Thats not nearly enough to merit a 3rd round selection. Plenty of players in the UDFA ranks who will be able to say more or less the same things.

This pick is indefensible, imho

Last time Mike Brown took over our draft room we got Tab Perry in the 6th, so im definitly excited about seeing Frostee on sundays this year.
