turnip
I attended NC State; therefore I am biased. The Texans made a good decision. Mario and Reggie are outstanding talents, and are the two best players in this draft. I rate them equally. The "Michael Irvin" philosophy that the best defense is a good offense is ridiculous. If you concentrate solely on offense and negelect defense, then your poor defense will allow an average offense to look as good as your own. That is common sense, but I can understand why Mr. Irvin struggles with these concepts. It is true that Reggie Bush (or even Vince Young) would have sold more tickets initially. But in the long run, winning is the best ticket seller. The Texans signed a potentially amazing player who fills a greater need than Reggie could have filled, for a cheaper price than the price of Reggie Bush. ArmyBengal
Still can't forget that Houston has the 1st pick in the second and the 1st AND 2nd in the second. They will be able to address their o-line just fine. D'Brick would have been great for them, but it's not a gigantically stupid move in m mind.WHODEY !!! Your bias is skewing your thinking. We're talking about the difference in a guy(Bush) that could touch the ball thirty times a game vs. a guy that might Play 30 play's.Biggest draft blunder EVER. Ox
I have a feeling this is going to be the biggest draft mistake ever by a franchise. Wow.Talk about opportunity loss.
