combatbengal Posted April 13, 2006 Report Posted April 13, 2006 Ken Griffey Jr. left in the fourth inning with stiffness in the back of his right knee. He is listed as day to day.My question is, what's new? This guy is always hurt! Quote
Stripes Posted April 13, 2006 Report Posted April 13, 2006 Griffey said it's nothing major, and I believe him. I doubt a little stiffness in his knee is anything to be concerned with. His injuries that have sidelined him for longer times in recent seasons were far worse. Quote
ArmyBengal Posted April 13, 2006 Report Posted April 13, 2006 This is the one thing I don't want to see happen !!!I like Griffey so much and want to see him do well !!!WHODEY !!! Quote
LB51 Posted April 13, 2006 Report Posted April 13, 2006 Junior injured? Must be spring time in the Nati! Quote
semiotter Posted April 13, 2006 Report Posted April 13, 2006 Yeah I saw the play, he tweeked it during a swing. It didnt look like he hurt it to bad. He will be o.k Quote
GROIIIDayton Posted April 13, 2006 Report Posted April 13, 2006 He was healthy almost the whole season last year give the guy a break. He has had some tough breaks over the years and would have had numbers with the all time greats if it were not for some of these things. The man is only human and does everything ha can to prevent injuries. He will be fine don't start this sh*t already. Quote

BengalszoneBilly Posted April 13, 2006 Report Posted April 13, 2006 Junior injured? Must be spring time in the Nati! This is like baseballs version of Bill Murrays movie "Groundhog Day." It keeps happening over, and over, and over! Quote

ArmyBengal Posted April 18, 2006 Report Posted April 18, 2006 Well, I guess I'm just one of those people that loves Griffey regardless. I am optimistic to a fault it seems, when it comes to him. The money he gets is maddening though compared to how many games he has missed during his tenure here...WHODEY !!! Quote

He's still one of my favorite baseball players in the game, and a few injuries shouldn't change that. He didn't ask to have knee trouble. Quote
Larry Posted April 18, 2006 Report Posted April 18, 2006 It is the middle of April, taxes are due, tree's got leaves on them, grass starting to grow, Griffey on DL, NFL draft, yes everything is the same... Quote

BengalszoneBilly Posted April 18, 2006 Report Posted April 18, 2006 cut griffys arse i am tired of hearing about him being hurtSeriously, if he was ANY other player, he'd be sitting out on the DL every season on some other teams dime!It sure would have been sweet had he been able to produce here in Cincy just one season like he did in Seattle. The ball must travel better there, eh? Quote
