Moulds to Texans

Recommended Posts

Of course, this makes Walter no better than a 3 now....he may not get nearly the playing time he had hoped for

Walter was not going to be a 1 or 2 anywhere anyway, but I get what you are saying. Walter is definitely an asset to the Texans as a #3 and more to the point, Special Teams...

WHODEY !!!

I dunno....the number 2 is often a posession guy, and I have always liked Walter as a posession wr. I think he could be a 2.

But either way, yeah, each guy they sign who is clearly in front of him in the pecking order -- and he is clearly behind Moulds, hehe, as would be most receivers -- the lesser his playing time will be.

I think you could a lot worse than have Good Hands Walter as your #3 WR

After Bush's workout, I can't see how they pass up on him, knowing they still have three picks at the top of the next two rounds to address the o-line. I was never a big fan of them drafting Bush at the beginning, but this is yet another change in my mind for the Texans.

You guys are killing me.

Bush is a special player.

So what if they NEED O-Line help?

Theyll address it in the second round and continue to address it I assume for the remainder of the draft.

BPA > Need

Couldn't have said it better myself. I've been making the same point all offseason!

Reggie Bush will be a bust...he has all the makings for it. He might be special, but he can't do special s**t w/o an O-line

You make it seem like the Texans are going to totally neglect their O-Line.

First, they have a regime change, or a new Head Coach, if you will.

Do you think that Kubiak is gonna just ignore it?

And you're crazy for thinking Bush will be a bust.

Just so you know--

Well, I thought Tony Mandrich was going to be the best OL ever, and he was a major flop. Had everything going for him like Bush, Magazine covers, THE NEXT BIG THING

Peter Warrick was suppose to revolutionze the WR posistion, he was a let down...

I can go through a couple more, but they all lead on the path that Bush is on now. Not being an everydown back is going to hurt him big time.

Whur, I'm going to have to disagree there buddy... This is a departure from my original stance on him, but I really think with the picks the Texans have (top of the 2nd and 2 in the top of the 3rd) they will be more than able to address their o-line issues. Think about it, all those guys on offense learning and progressing together. No they might not have the stellar season next year, but give it time and they will have a pretty solid offense...

Remember where Kubiak came from. The cut blocking, running machine Denver Broncos. He'll introduce that, then all Reggie Bush will have to is is make one read, cut up the hole, and take off. Houston gets a good olineman, incorporate Denver's blocking, and he will SHINE B) (yeah, you'll need shades)

They'll get a player or two, but it's that blocking scheme that'll make ALL THE DIFFERENCE.

Texans have way to many holes on the o-line . i know where kubiak came from his o-line in Texas in nothing close to what they have in Denver. so until they can keep Carr from being on his back which i think they can but not next season it is going to take a season or two to fix all there problems on the o-line. until they get that right it does not matter who is on the field if they can't get him the ball. also at moulds age how much longer can he be effective?

You have to start somewhere and with all the picks they have coupled with the depth of o-line prospects, what better year to get started on the o-line ??
