cincykid06 Posted March 27, 2006 Report Posted March 27, 2006 Kimo is now with the Jets. Do you think players look at shot on Carson as more of an indvidual thing with Kimo or in broader terms of symptomatic of how the Steelers and Cowher play. I hope it is the latter. Quote

Do you think players look at shot on Carson as more of an indvidual thing with Kimo or in broader terms of symptomatic of how the Steelers and Cowher play. I hope it is the latter. The Steelers have been one of our two or three main rivals since the merger in 1970. This only adds to the "history" between the two. Kimo is just a small part of that.I don't think Cowher teaches dirty tactics but they all feed on his emotion and the whole Steeler thing just like the Raiders do with the Silver and Black. The only way to make that go away is to consistently beat them over the next five to ten years. Quote
ArmyBengal Posted March 27, 2006 Report Posted March 27, 2006 Kimo was just a drop in the bucket compared to my hatred for their F*CKING fans. I just can't stand ignorance and their fans just seem to have gotten the lions share. The rivalry is stronger than ever with TJ and the towel and now Carson stating how much he hated seeing them win it all. This will be a great game (PHYSICAL) for many years...WHODEY !!! Quote

Just show up and they will have a good team. There is no emotional investment for any of these folks. Quote

Dadraftnick Posted March 28, 2006 Report Posted March 28, 2006 In baseball when a pitcher hits your batter in the head with a 90 MPH fastball what happens? You return the favor and hit one of their guys in the head with a 90 MPH fastball. Why ?Because if you dont they will continue to do it and because if you dont they will see you as week and afraid of them. When Palmers Knee was intentionally taken out the game was over, you knew that Kitna would do the Kitna crumble once the steelers got any pressure on him he would start to throw interceptions and fumble ect.The right thing to do would have been to take out Rothelsburger's leg. The Bengals may have lost any way (although I think Kitna is a million times better than Maddox) and there may have been fines but the steelers would not have won the Super Bowl yelling we dey and would think twice about doing that again. Why do you think that Von Olehoffen is gone and the chin is down playing the we dey, because he's afraid that Marvin will return the favor. He wanted nothing more than to play in Pittsburgh, even when he was with the Bengals. And now he leaves Pittsburgh for the Jets? Who has a crappy team and no QB? He is flat out scared that he is going to get beat down by double teams, cut blocks, and a pulling Bobbie Williams everytime he plays the Bengals. So he had to get out of town like the coward he is. Ironically, the Bengals play the Jets this year. Quote

Their fans were so obnoxious- saw a couple Steeler fans beating some Bengals fans up in the bathroom. Disgusting- All those people from Pittsburgh think they're so tough. Quote
ArmyBengal Posted March 28, 2006 Report Posted March 28, 2006 I can't say taking out Rottenfurburger's knee would have been the "right thing" to do, but yes I do understand the concept of hitting them back in the mouth. This rivalry will be (if it's not already) the biggest in the NFL thanks to last years games. It could get ugly !!!WHODEY !!! Quote
bengalsfansince68 Posted March 28, 2006 Report Posted March 28, 2006 I am a long time Bengals fan living in Houston, Texas. For the majority of the history of our franchise the Browns fans have been easily the most obnoxious I have encountered. That changed in 2004. We have a small group of Bengals fans who gather at a sports bar to watch our beloved Bengals each week. The Steeler fans there were so incredibly and overtly obnoxious that a fight almost erupted. During their ridiculous and immature behaviour they all congratulated themselves on what die-hard fans that they were.I said: "Hey, there are no more die-hard fans in the NFL than the 4 guys sitting right here at this Bengals table. If Steeler fans had been through what we have gone through for 15 years, 90% of you would not be here.It is easy to be a fan when your team wins every year. Try being a Bengal fan in the 90's.Their childish behaviour prompted us to find a new sports bar for the 2005 season.Thankfully the Steeler fans at the new bar were less boorish and easier to get along with.Screw the Steelers and Browns fans!! da boss Posted March 28, 2006 Report Posted March 28, 2006 I will always hate the steelers, but my hatred will deminish a little once Hines Ward is gone. I hate that little bitch. He just wishes he was as good as Chad or TJ. Quote
cincy9275 Posted March 28, 2006 Report Posted March 28, 2006 after what kemo did and the way bitch boy cowher mocked us that tell's me that what we saw in that game was no doubt intentional and the true face of the steeler's there fans and the coaches . bengals fan 68 and cincykid you guys handle your situations alot better than i. i would have put them dicksfaces in there place there is one thing i can't stand and that it a punkass s**t talker . i will give every man or women there respect but once they cross the line there is no going back Quote
