Paul Domwitch, of the Philadelphia Daily News, reports league sources say an intriguing candidate from the outside has surfaced who could get fairly serious consideration to be the next commissioner of the NFL. It's former Cincinnati Bengals LB Reggie Williams. Williams, 51, is the vice president of planning and new development for Disney's Wide World of Sports Complex. Williams has the kind of broad appeal that makes him attractive to the league as a candidate to succeed outgoing Paul Tagliabue. Williams, who is recovering from an infection following knee-replacement surgery, said he has not spoken directly with anyone from the league about the commissioner's job recently. He said he would consider the position, if the league asked.

I always loved him as a player and think highly of him as a person. I just think it would great to have an ex-Bengal in there !!!

Ugghh! Reggie Williams is an egotistical biggot. He tried to do one of my married employees who went to a party of his at Disney. Basically, told her to leave because she was white girl, unless she wanted to put out. Her friend, and client, who was a black female, told him to STFU and they left. A drunk, immoral, egotistical a**h***, who tries to hide behind his Dartmouth education. He's a thug. I would throw up if he was actually considered for commish of the NFL. Maybe more people need to go public with the dirty little secrets about Reggie.

Well, I've met the man and spoke with him more than a "hi", but obviously I'm not a white girl invited to a party of his as an employee. He could be VERY different from what I saw and how he acted at that point in time, but I'm going by what I've seen. We all have things about ourselves that aren't evident at first glance... The facade can be a B*TCH !!! I come across as a very happy go lucky guy, but when in uniform and around Soldiers, I can become a real assh*le !!!
