BTG
Saints | Six-year deal reached with Brees...and the outlook of the draft is completely different. This is crazy, two big name QBs move within 20 minutes of each other. Looks like Leinart will drop to Tennessee & reunite with Norm Chow.

HoosierCat
Yep, all mocks are now officially SCREWED !!!Go back and redo everything...Question is, do these signings help or hurt us sitting at #24 ???I don't know if you could call it "helping" or "hurting," but it raises a possibility I brought up on the draft board a month or two ago:What happens if we're sitting at 24 and Leinart or Cutler or Young is still there? Given the questions we have at QB, that becomes an option.
Whur CHad At?
Saints | Shopping the No. 2 pickTue, 14 Mar 2006 11:09:11 -0800Jay Glazer, of FOXSports.com, reports the New Orleans Saints are now trying to trade the No. 2 pick in the NFL Draft because they no longer are in need of selecting a quarterback.Trade up for NGATA!!! ArmyBengal
Ngata with the #2 ??? Even for how much I would love to have Ngata, there's no way in hell !!! I think Houston was screwed in this deal, because now to move up and get a QB, you no longer have to jump over New Orleans, you just have to get the #2 pick. HUGE move for the Saints, they are now in the drivers seat and stand to gain the most in the draft by signing Brees.WHODEY !!!
TJJackson
I think it only hurts us if the three top QBs who would have been taken before 24 are now not all taken before 24....
