da boss Posted February 17, 2006 Report Posted February 17, 2006 out of all the bengals games next year which ones would you like to see on prime time television the most? i personally want to see us play the patriots, cheifs, and of course the squeelers Quote
turningpoint Posted February 17, 2006 Report Posted February 17, 2006 Browns and ravens, nothing like winning by 30 on national tv. Quote
Stripes Posted February 17, 2006 Report Posted February 17, 2006 Agreed with turningpoint.Realistically... I'd love to face the Steelers (praying to the Heavens that Palmer could be included) or the Colts (points galore! again...) Quote
The_Next_Big_Thing Posted February 17, 2006 Report Posted February 17, 2006 I'd personally like to see us against New England, Kansas City, Indy, and/or Atlanta. Ok, so only Atlanta because I think the NFL/Media's love affair with Ron Mexico will get them the prime time showing. Quote
AMC Posted February 17, 2006 Report Posted February 17, 2006 I'd personally like to see us against New England, Kansas City, Indy, and/or Atlanta. Ok, so only Atlanta because I think the NFL/Media's love affair with Ron Mexico will get them the prime time showing.there will be a PITT game in prime time and the INDY game...the networks are salivating for a shootout again in that one...also would like to see the NE game... CBin2k7 Posted February 17, 2006 Report Posted February 17, 2006 There are so many great games next year. Denver, New England, San Diego, Carolina, Atlanta, Tampa Bay, Indy, Kansas City, and two meetings with the Steelers, I would love to see any of these games on TV.If I had to guess I would go with Pittsburgh, Indy, Carolina and San Diego. Quote
turningpoint Posted February 17, 2006 Report Posted February 17, 2006 it would be a huge dissapointment if we only receive 2 games imo.i think we should see at least 3 primetime games ( SNF or MNF) Quote
Kazkal Posted February 18, 2006 Report Posted February 18, 2006 I'm sure bengals will have plenty of live games all over US if they have strong start kinda like how they made bengals vs steelers all around US Quote
ArmyBengal Posted February 18, 2006 Report Posted February 18, 2006 As many as possible !!!WHODEY !!! Quote

BengalszoneBilly Posted February 19, 2006 Report Posted February 19, 2006 Steelers, Bronco's, and Colts. No way on the Ravens. Even Cleveland deserves it far more than Baltimore. Quote
derekshank Posted February 20, 2006 Report Posted February 20, 2006 Prime time will be a risk for the schedulers... because with Palmer's season in doubt there is no guarantee that we won't be this year's verson of the Baltimore Ravens. High expectations... but with poor QB production the season could be over fast.***WARNING***I am not saying that I believe this is how the season will play out... but it will be a major concern for those making the schedules. If Palmer is expected to be out for an extended period of time, don't expect a lot of prime time action this year. Quote
The_Next_Big_Thing Posted February 20, 2006 Report Posted February 20, 2006 Prime Time is ALWAYS a risk. Come on, look how many times we saw the inept Green Bay team this season! Quote
ArmyBengal Posted February 20, 2006 Report Posted February 20, 2006 Prime Time is ALWAYS a risk. Come on, look how many times we saw the inept Green Bay team this season! Agreed, and how many times did Atlanta play due to the Mike Vick factor ?? Wasn't it 4 home games ?? Crazy...WHODEY !!! Quote
w8th Posted February 20, 2006 Report Posted February 20, 2006 I believe NBC gets to pick their Sunday night games the last 7 weeks of the regular season.I'm not exactly sure how it is supposed to work (how far in advance NBC has to pick). The article I read referred to it as "flexible scheduling" Quote

I'd assume that is their intent... I don't recall whether it was Sunday or Monday, but that late season Jets/Saints primetime matchup was pathetic. Quote
Whur CHad At? Posted February 23, 2006 Report Posted February 23, 2006 When does the schedule get released, I can't remeber? Quote
bengalindian Posted February 23, 2006 Report Posted February 23, 2006 I would really enjoy having none. I kind of like the Bengals going in under the radar and go against the doubters (because of Carson's injury) to win the North again, and have the Steelers under all the scrutiny. Plus, Marvin likes the every Sunday routine, so maybe it'll help. Quote

Still, the primetime games are so much fun, I'd like to see at least one (all but a certainty). Quote
