  1. Tart still visiting today, per Shefty. I would be fine with signing him. He wouldn't cost anything and worst case scenario he's a camp body.
  2. Houston trades out of the first round, sells pick 23 to the Vikes' Minnesota Gets: 23rd 232nd Houston Gets: 42nd 188th 2nd in 2025 Vikes have 11 and 23, gotta think they are looking at moving up for a QB.
  3. First, this is not true. At least not yet. I saw this report on some bullshit jets site last night and was quickly taken down. Second, I hope it does happen, it would be a good move. ETA: here is the original bullshit report: https://jetswire.usatoday.com/2024/03/14/mekhi-becton-now-a-former-jet-signs-with-bengals/ Click through for 404 page not found message.
  4. Yup, 2 years, $27 million per multiple reports. Jags giving Armstead 3 years, $51 million. Texans giving Mixon a 3 year extension, $27 million, 13 guaranteed.
  5. According to a guy on a Lions forum (so take it with a grain of salt) it’s a 2 year deal for $27 million. Given that’s basically the same as Rankins, that suggests the team was not interested in signing him at that level.
  6. He barely played the previous two years. Becton actually had a solid rookie campaign in 2020, but he only had 48 snaps the next year and missed all of 2022. So that he was bad on a bad offense after two years off doesn’t surprise me. If he can stay healthy I think he would be an upgrade, though that wouldn’t stop me from taking Latham or Fuaga at 18.
  7. True but it’s a pretty deep DT class this year. They should be able to find a good run stuffing prospect in rounds 2 or 3. I hate losing Reader too but that $26 million number says to me that he isn’t coming back.
  8. That said, Ridley gets paid. https://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/39725390/titans-snag-wr-calvin-ridley-4-year-92m-deal If I’m the bengals I text Mulugheta and tell him we’ll do that for Tee.
  9. I think the WR market has some of the same issues as the OT market, in that there are 5-6 guys who could go in the first, so there’s not a lot of action yet. I wouldn’t rule out a Boyd (or Jonah) return just yet.
