Not true. For example, Jefferson’s deal came after his 4th year. That’s pretty standard. Chase is going into year 4 this season. The argument for signing him is that it won’t get any cheaper, but like I said before the Bengals don’t really care about that since it’s not their money. I agree they should do a deal but not doing one wouldn’t be unusual.

Eh, Mike just said what we already knew. The Bengals do business their way and don’t much care what the fans, the media or, for that matter, the players, think. In the case of Chase, it’s clear he’s going to get paid, but on their timeline, not his. T’was always thus, in Cincinnati.

Yeah, my MIL is in her late 80s and last year the family got together and basically moved her at gunpoint from NC up by us in northwest Indiana. Now she has a nice apartment in a senior community and we can get her to doctors and the grocery store without a two day drive first. She is still sharp mentally but it’s getting increasingly hard for her to get around.
