Way things have been going I dread the injury report after this game.
Eric All to get a lot of work today.

ESPN has a really good piece by Ben Solak on the ongoing Aiyuk drama in SF that provides some sort of global context to the whole WRs-getting-paid storyline this year here:

One point that caught my eye is right up front:
I'm gonna go ahead and be the one to say it. Fine, Chase, you think you're the shit? Go whistle. We'll give your money to Tee and draft a guy.
Chase is actually making almost $5 million this season; Schefter conveniently left out his roster bonus in his now infamous rant. The bengals have also picked up the fifth year option, which is a fully guaranteed (almost) $22 million. So sure you can argue he’s underpaid atm but it’s not like he needs to busk on the street corner after games to make ends meet.
Mims out “several weeks” with a strained pec. Sigh…

I wouldn’t be surprised if carman was deliberately screwing up. He has no future here and knows it. The sooner he gets cut, the better it is for both him and the team. Frankly I have no idea why he’s here at all. He’s a sub replacement level guy and he needed to be gone at least a year ago.
Jones week to week. Good news all things considered.

Notable since the bengals said they are trying extend McMoney.

Some thoughts from Lap. Basically it’s Murphy and Ossai right now with Cam gone, and Trey and Hubbard dinged. Cedric Johnson with a chance to step up too.
Sample out for the year, torn Achilles.

Bummer. Murphy, you’re up.
Yeah, cutting Trent would be foolish. If Mims can start day 1, awesome, Brown gets to be first off the bench if either tackle gets hurt. And if Mims hits the rookie wall come December, Trent is fresh and ready to go.
