    I repeat.....fire em' all!!! (Bengals scouts, and mB if he wanted this guy) This guy and his baggage makes Frostee look like a church pastor.....terrible and wasted pick.

    Even if it is...big deal. A fifth round pick is lucky to even make a team's final roster. These guys are usually ticketed to the practice squad from day one.

    I remain far more upset about the bengals' waste of their second round pick. <_<

    huh? Simpson is a guy with all the tools, high ceiling, measurables that match production and NO character issues? I wil take guys like that all day long versus a CI guy in any round. This team has not shown a single ability to manage ONE character issue guy at all...

    if you can point to one, ONE, CI guy who the Bengals have "helped get it" then I will desist in my criticism of this pick.

    watching that video shows just what he can do...yes, impressive but also countered by shots of him giving up and not showing good technique or desire...

    so here is where the problem is....

    we've got 2 r6's and 2 r7's...how, do they choose to sit still and just "take whoever is there" instead of dealing to get in a sopt to grab a gy who helps and is not a potential felon?

    this team and FO has a learning disability....maybe they are dyslexic. ...oooh, "misdemeanor".... not " Mr. Demon"

    well, Askew never materialized and then, his fault or not, ended up tasered right out of town....

    I knew this draft was going too well...here to hoping Mr. Shirley can come into town with his act together and contribute...has the tools but also the legacy of stupid, stupid behavior....

    as an aside, living in Fresno would make me want to drink heavily as well.

    Terrible pick. Awful.

    From what I understand, he has great ability and size....but he's been suspended at least twice if not more at Fresno State, has crashed a car while driving drunk, and has pending criminal proceedings ahead of him for stuff he has ALREADY done

    It's also said he is a bit of a prima donna.

    I look at this guy as all the worst of Ocho Stinko and Slim15 all rolled up into one.

    when will this team graduate from the character issue guys. all the hot air we've seen...absolutely stupid.

    this does not mean Mr. SHirley won;t keep his nose clean but why, when there are so many viable options, do you roll dice on the another CI guy????? ????? ???? ??? ?? ?

    I was just going to say we already had our "quota"....maybe its an AFC North "thing"...?

    light banter...not "motivated" by any deep seeded disdain for folks of other ethinicities....

    ..my angle was Zbik is a novelty, not the kind of player he was hyped to be...

    however, I am GLAD the ratbirds took him instead of someone who might help make theri team better, colors aside!

    .....he allowed 13 sacks for losses totaling 83 yards and three quarterback pressures...

    And there it is.

    That's a full buttload of sacks allowed.

    Watch him for ten minutes and you'll quickly see the unawareness matches the upside.

    That said, the idea of kicking him inside is interesting as it protects him and reduces the liabilty.

    Ok, but who was their QB? Was he mobile? Was he realted to David Klingler? WHo was he throwing to?

    Seems this is also important to note: "Collins was selected as an Associated Press first-team All-American and Outland Trophy finalist in his final season. "

    I really like this pick...

    If Simpson is the Henry "fill-in", then Caldwell is CJ "fill-in"...

    I wonder what message this sends? Perhaps, "CJ, we're not putting up with your sorry act anymore. Look who we drafted so this team can move on from your drama."

    If Sims shows up ready to go, then this draft is going to get high marks form me.

    Damn Ravens just took Zbikowski. That guy is going to be a very good nfl player imo. Definitely didn't want him going to a division rival.

    I think he will be a huge bust, and the Ravens wasted their pick. To each their own.

    I also feel Mr. Zbikowski is not as good as advertised. Saw him smoked in several ND games on tv.

    The Ravens did well by moving down once Ryan was off the board. At 8 hey would have grabbed someone for big coin. Better to get value.

    Ray Rice was a better move than Flacco. They did nothing to address OL. Ogden is like Willie, nearing the end...

    Ravens have many problems....good. I wish them the worst.
