  1. The Chiefs made scoring on the Steelers look easy. Go Kansas City!!
  2. What a terrific college game. Both teams up and down. It comes down to the last two seconds and a field goal wins it by one! Also Kentucky of all teams goes to 3-0. Some good games today!
  3. Navy up by 3 at the half. What's crazy is not a single pass was thrown by either team. Sure, it's snowing, but the concept of not trying to surprise the opposition and stick with the run game every single play doesn't sit with me.
  4. A bad week starting with the mass killing in Las Vegas just got worse with the passing of Tom Petty. The week before a country favorite of mine Troy Gentry was killed in a helicopter crash. So sad...
  5. Who does Mark root for in this one? Personally I'm all Army.
  6. If I had to go to work at the airport tomorrow with that record, I couldn't look another mech or pilot in the eye. I actually wouldn't have a job because you either produce or you walk. I say the Bengals will finish sub .500. Doormat is where this misguided ship is sailing.
  7. Back in the day rocking my Netscape browser on Windows 98 on a Pentium II desktop rig. Playing Duke Nukem in game rooms, surfing across the globe on a dial up modem while EarthLink was my ISP. Now everything is ads. Click bait. Facebook, Instagram, any number of social programs have just sucked the fun out what used to be an adventure whenever you went on the web. Yahoo, MSN both suck balls. Lame games and what not. The flavor is gone.
  8. This is one of my favorite number non-football times of the year. College hoops have their conference tournaments this weekend which leads into the NCAA Tourney on Tuesday. Time for filling out brackets in company pools and to watch some really good basketball. Is anyone else down with this, or is it just me?
  9. I saw the "Space Between Us" last week. Seriously I couldn't recommend this flick for a rental. The premise sounded cool, but the film didn't deliver. I haven't been this disappointed in a film since "Saint Elmo's Fire."
  10. Have a good one you old bastard!
  11. One of your buddies flew in today to have some work done on his plane.
  12. You can't keep the boobymiester down!
  13. I don't know how old you are today, can't get to the calendar on this stupid phone. Anyway, have a great one partner. Try to sneak out of work early and go celebrate!
  14. Congrats on be voted into the Hall of Fame!! Junior recieved the highest percentage of votes of any player ever. Now, does he go in as a Red or as a Mariner?
  15. I just checked my Yahoo mail and got an invite for Bengalszone Premier League Week 14 Challenge. Is that something someone here initiated, or is Yahoo trying to rope us in on one of their deals?
  16. Pretty impressive seeing how he missed a bunch of early season races after a bad crash in Daytona to open the season. I'm also kinda bummed to see Jeff Gordon retire. He was a class act throughout his career. For reasons everyone knows, I missed doing a fantasy Nascar league this year, but will have one going come February. I know there won't be a lot if interest, but if anyone cares to get in on it, let me know. Congrats to Kyle, and thanks for not letting Harvick win it two years in a row. Go Rowdy!!
  17. Claims it's illegal gambling and not fantasy. The way I see it, it's genuine gambling, and I thought this was bound to happen eventually. From ESPN.
  18. My boy Newton is really racking up some points for me today. Could this be the week I finally get a win?
  19. Dammit Iain, ye birthday slipped by us yesterday and I forgot about it. Forgive me my man, and I hope your 50th Birthday was a smashing good time. This win today didn't hurt either did it?
  20. Blood Moon or whatever you want to call it. You guys back east seeing any of it yet?
  21. Others here as well. It would help others understand us better...
  22. I needed a good way to stay in shape, keep the cardio up, the weight down and all that rot. I tried jogging, but at my age my knees and other joints weren't happy at all with that approach, so I went looking for another angle, and began looking at bicycles. I have a friend who works at a company next to mine at the airport, and he is waaay into biking. He's a 25 to 50 miles on a weekday kind of guy, over a hundred on a Saturday or Sunday. Anyway he has a slew of bikes and sold me his slightly older mountain bike so he could upgrade to a newer top of the line job. Huge ass motorcycle looking tires on it, costs over 3K, outta my price range kinda rig, but he gave me a smokin' deal on his old one, and I've been on it for the last two weeks. Today I made a 30+ mile ride, and my cardio seems to be improving. Those first rides were pretty rough but I'm getting stronger. I also use a cool free little app on my phone called Strava, which tracks your ride and records your route, average speed and distance. It also works for you joggers too if you want to track your workouts. So, does anyone else here get sweaty on two wheels? If not, (besides going to the fridge for another cold one) what is your workout?
  23. I never thought Brad Keslowski would be able to beat Jimmie Johnson for the title, but he and his Dodge were up to the task. Kudo's to Brad! As far as our Nascary Fantasy League, a rookie walked away with the Championship Kudos to JAB of San Antonio. Impressive dude. Final results are as follows... Thanks to all the participated, and hope to see all of you back in Feburary for our eighth consecutive season.
  24. With his 2nd place finish last night Jeff Gordon snuck into the last spot for the Chase, just edging Kyle Busch. Denny Hamlin roared into 1st place on the back of three strong finishes in a row. A couple new faces are making an appearance in this years contest with Dale Jr. and Brad Keslowski having exceptional runs. Here's how the Nascar standings and points will kick off at Chicagoland Speedway next Sunday. As far as our Bengalszone Nascar Fantasy League goes, I moved back into contention on a strong 1-2-3-11 finish at Richmond. I'm trailing jrs junk by 11 points. Normally that wouldn't merit mention except that person is a woman! Best female player I've run into. Here's our current standings:
  25. Thanks to a crash by Matt Kenseth, Junior takes over the Cup points lead. Personally I doubt he holds it, but it will be epic if he does. The Chase starts in six weeks, so crunch time is coming. Personally I see one of three drivers capturing the Crown this season. Greg Biffle, Jimmy Johnson, and Matt Kenseth.
