Best draft so far is the Seahawks, but best single pick was the Packers getting Bulaga. They get a great prospect at their biggest need, late in the first round. Things could not have gone better for them so far.
-
Its going to be somebody we brought in for a visit. Taylor Mays or Eric Decker.
We could probably get Decker in the 3rd. PLEASE NOT ROUND 2!
Decker won't make it to round three. I'd say he'll be gone before we pick.

You think they'd go with Decker over Mardy?
I have no doubt. Mardy won't get drafted in the second round. Eric Decker is both the best route runner and has the best hands in the draft. During Decker's career at Minnesota, they threw to him 354 times and he only dropped three of those passes.

I just wish the networks would stop showing them on the phone before they announce the pick. It kills the suspense.

I think its going to be Gresham, but I'm hoping for Odrick. He would be the perfect under tackle complement to Peko.

What constitutes a correct pick? Correctly picking the slot the player goes in or correctly picking which team drafts which player?
-
I'll watch NFL Network until Mayok's lisp gets on my nerves, then I flip over to ESPN until I can't take anymore of Berman. Plus, its always fun to see both stations go to commercial when the Bengals pick.

So your birthday is 4-20? It shouldn't be too hard to find people to celebrate with then!!!!
Happy Birthday

Blaine, did I mention that I love your new sig...
I stole it from somebody on WalterFootball who stole it from somebody on a different site. Kudos to the person that created it, though.

The draft is going to feel so much different now that I won't be drunk all day long watching people younger than me become millionaires. Damn the format change.

If we can get him to sign an extension before the season starts, I am all for Scheffler. I'm not interested in Olsen, and I don't know that much about Bennett, other than Jerry Jones criticizing him for not stepping up.
The only way I see this happening is with an extension in place when they make a trade, and I don't see much chance of that happening. I'd say they are only focused on getting our own guys locked up considering Benson, Joseph, Cook, Livings, Brandon Johnson, and Mathis are all free agents after this season.

Happy birthday AGreen

I like that part when he says that he basically hired Parcells to "sell jerseys".
Rich, drunk and stupid is no way to go through life son!
If that's no way to go through life then how bad is it that I just go through life drunk and stupid.

With the 24nd pick in the NFL Draft, the Philadelphia Eagles select:
CJ Spiller, RB, Clemson
In all likelihood, somebody with a need at runningback would have traded up to snag Spiller, but since it is a no trade mock and both of the top corners are gone, the value was just too good for the Eagles to pass. I was thinking Sean Weatherspoon, but Spiller will give the Eagles a one-two punch out of the backfield with McCoy, and they make sure Kolb has a running game to rely on all season.

Local radio just reported that vaginal bruising was present, but during the investigation the victim and her family sent a letter asking that no charges be pursued. Payoff.
Or intimidation. Remember when Ben slammed his motorcycle into that old lady's car? It was reported that she received constant death threats after the incident. This girl may have just wanted everyone to leave her alone.
After looking at the facts that are out, I get the sickening feeling that Ben is getting away with rape.
-Ben follows the girl into the bathroom, while one his lackeys blocks the door.
-The girl receives a head injury
-The girl leaves the bar crying
-The girl immediately notifies police
-Vaginal bruising is found
Also, everything I have heard that was reported about the alleged victim was that she was a high character person.
On a side note, if you have been accused of multiple sexual assaults and are having a press conference, why would you go with a haircut that makes you look like a complete douche. That is the sleaziest hairstyle I have ever seen.

Jared Odrick is going to be a top ten pick, so in this situation, I have no doubt that he would be the pick.
However, I've been pimping Gresham about as hard as anyone so I can't go against that so put me down for Gresham.
-
True, but Pittsburgh's newly discovered need is just one more reason why Dez Bryant won't fall to the Bengals in the real draft.
I dunno you just got rid of a guy with a bad attitude so would you really want to go after a guy who is so suspect? Read on a article that even Benn may be looked at before Byrant by some teams.
To me its comparing apples to oranges. They knew Holmes had four kids with four different women when they drafted him. Its a lot different than getting a free dinner and forgetting a pair of cleats. Dez might have a little diva in him, but like he said in a recent interview, he has never been in legal trouble, he doesn't do drugs, and he doesn't drink. Dez's problems are being overblown in the media, and I don't think (and hope) that Dez doesn't fall to the Steelers.
-
I love having Mike Tannenbaum as the GM. Cromartie, Edwards, and Holmes for a pair of 3's and a pair of 5's. He is trying to put together a championship team. I just hope the locker room culture doesn't change. I have no question about the talent.
Edwards is a good acquisition and getting Holmes for a fifth is a great value, but, if the Cromartie you have has the same mind set that he had with the Chargers, I wouldn't want him on the field.

Kick-Ass is the most violent comic I have ever read and it looks like they did a fairly faithful movie adaption for it.
Don't judge it by the watered down trailers you see on T.V.. Just check out this badass trailer below.
