HoosierCat
Yeah, here's the link...http://www.wcpo.com/news/2006/local/06/14/henry.htmlSounds like it's related to that "I loaned my buddy my credit card" incident, so it isn't really new, they just finally charged him with something. Larry
POSTED 2:37 p.m. EDT, June 14, 2006NEW WARRANT ISSUED FOR CHRIS HENRYOn Tuesday, we said that we'd continue to focus on the recovery of Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger from injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident unless Chris Henry or A.J. Nicholson or Sean Taylor or Marcus Vick kill someone within the next 48 hours. We have a winner. Sort of.WCPO-TV reports that a warrant has been issued for the arrest of Bengals receiver Chris Henry, and that he is wanted for three counts of "unlawful transaction with a minor."Unless Henry is alleged to have scammed a 9-year-old out of his Pokemon card collection, this thing sounds bad.Stay tuned. Spor_tees
Maybe Henry thinks this is a competition and he is seeing if he can "one up" the Steelers by doing something dumber than them each time? derekshank
I'm waiting for PFT to call Henry a turd again, (which he indeed is) and mock Marvin Lewis and the Cincinnati Bengals in their Steeler homer tradition. But as Schefter put it on NFL.comMinutes after Pittsburgh won the Super Bowl, running back Jerome Bettis announced his retirement. Since then, the blows to the Steelers have kept coming, almost in rapid fire.Wide receiver Antwaan Randle El signed with Washington, safety Chris Hope signed with Tennessee and defensive tackle Kimo von Oelhoffen signed with the New York Jets. Linebacker Joey Porter needed arthroscopic knee surgery, while a potential contract showdown loomed over him and the Steelers.Pittsburgh's first-round pick Santonio Holmes was slapped with a disorderly conduct charge.Coach Bill Cowher provided an ambivalent answer about his coaching future in Pittsburgh. And then, the latest and most serious incident came when quarterback Ben Roethlisberger was involved in a motorcycle accident in which he was fortunate not to lose his life. Our problems with Henry and Nicholson are indeed problems... but they look rather minimal compared to that list. We've got issues with 2 players, who were 3rd and 5th round selections, (one who we haven't even offered a contract to). The Steelers have taken hits on both sides of the ball from starters and first rounders... so just shut up about our "turds" because you have your own issues to worry about. HoosierCat
Maybe Henry thinks this is a competition and he is seeing if he can "one up" the Steelers by doing something dumber than them each time? (Holmes arrest and now the Worthlessberger wreck) The wcpo report specifically states that the warrant is related to the hotel incident back in May, where Henry suppposedly gave his credit card to an alleged buddy and that guy then got into all kinds of trouble. So there's nothing "new" here. As to how serious it is, that'll depend on what degree he's being charged with.
Stripes
I give up. Henry sucks. I'm tired of seeing threads with titles like this one when I check Bengalszone (not that it's any poster's fault he is such a moron).
bengalboomer7
I'm sorry, i just can't help it Seroiusly, what can you do anymore but laugh at his ignorance. This goes beyond stupidity. In fact, I think Webster will have to come up with a whole new word for this guy Now, whenever someone I know does something stupid, I'm gonna say he "pulled a Henry"
HoosierCat
More detailed reports are rolling in, it's the BS third degree charge...apparently "alcoholic beverages bought by Henry were consumed by three women who are under 21 years old." BFD. per wkrc...Chris Henry Expected To Surrender TodayLAST UPDATE: 6/14/2006 3:57:27 PMAn arrest warrant for Bengals wide receiver Chris Henry has been issued by Kenton County. Henry is expected to turn himself into authorities later today. It is the latest in a series of legal problems Henry has faced.Henry is charged with three counts of an unlawful transaction with a minor. Alcoholic beverages bought by Henry were consumed by three women who are under 21 years old, Covington Police say.The warrant stems from a party at the Covington Courtyard in late April. After that party, a woman claimed Henry had raped her. Henry was never charged. Now, that woman, Monica Beamon, 18, has been charged with falsely reporting an incident. Ten days after Beamon made the allegation against Henry, she was arrested on a prostitution charge in Covington. So they're busting him for buying beers for an 18-year-old hooker(s)?Lame. GROIIIDayton
Chris Henry just turned himself in for buying alcohol for some minors. I guess it was for some girls and one claimed he raped her but no charges were filed and she is now in trouble for the saying that. I just heard this on WLW not sure of any details. Larry
Troubles keep coming for Henry By GEOFF HOBSONJune 14, 20065:35 p.m. With Chris Henry facing another alcohol-related charge, his future with the Bengals and the NFL looks to be squarely in the hands of NFL commissioner Paul Tagliabue. WCPO-TV in Cincinnati reported Wednesday that Henry turned himself in at the Kenton County Justice Center on three counts of unlawful transaction with a minor, charges that stem from giving several underage girls alcohol in a May incident at the Courtyard Marriott in Covington, according to the station. It’s his fourth arrest in six months and comes two weeks after he was arrested on a DUI in Batavia, Ohio. He has already admitted guilt in a charge of marijuana possession and paid a a $250 fine, and is still waiting trial on a felony gun charge in Orlando, Fla. According to NFL player conduct policy, any conviction, or admission in a second crime brings a suspension decided by the commissioner. According to the NFL substance abuse policy, discipline for a second alcohol-related offense is likely a suspension, the duration which may escalate for repeat offenders. off of bengals.com.......DUMB ASS

Reverend Irvin is gonna be savin' some souls!Irvin also promised to get himself some Emmys in his post-football TV career. We think he's got a better chance of turning Chris Henry into a choir boy.
