Bobcat Bengal
This worries me a little bit. After seeing all the shenanigans his other players are putting his team through, I hope CJ doesn't pull a TO on us.

HairOnFire
It's a nagging concern, but the decision to hire a new agent could be related entirely to getting better endorsements. "Hi, I'm Chad Johnson. Whenever I want a hot dog covered with mustard I get my behind to der Weinerschnitzel. Because just like me...they're almost always open." HairOnFire
I've read where Drew Rosenhaus has managed to double his already impressive client list in just two years...largely due to his habit of charging his clients half what other agents have charged. What a bastard.

What a bastard. I thought it was he charges 6% compared to the usual 7% or something like that.I heard the C for the Packers (I think that's who it was) on the radio, talking about Rosenhaus at the pro-bowl. Apparently he had found out that Ahman Green was a fan of superman comics, so he randomly walked up to him in Hawaii with a bunch of superman comics and what not that he gave to him as a gift. After he did that, Ahman said thanks and just walked away.It sounds to me that he is a bigger kiss ass than most other agents as well. CTBengalsFan
notice how Ratliff held out as a 2nd round pick... didn't even realize Rosenhaus (or "Holdenaut" as I call him) was his agent
membengal
I think if CJ were going to have caught the virulent and nasty strain of 2005 Rosenhaus disease, he would have come down with it by now like Anquan Boldin, Sean Taylor, T.O., Javon Walker etc. etc. etc. have. Next time folks are feeling like a CJ pile on for one of his exuberant outbursts next season, do try and remember that he has been here working his butt off all year when he could be trying the holdout thing like others of Rosenhaus' clients are doing, even while in the midst of contracts.Bengals are very fortunate in this instance. I'm not even trying to go there, talking about CJ being unhappy. For one, he JUST re-signed a contract extension last year I believe.Second, he's ALL about the Bengals. He's a definite team player, no doubt. He and Rudi want to finish their careers as Bengals.I was just concerned that Rosenhaus might be in his ear saying the wrong things. Yeah, we are on the same point TT. I am in agreement with you. I guarantee you Rosenhaus HAS been in his ear whispering those kind of things. It's just that CJ ain't listening. Yes, he just signed a contract. But so did EVERY ONE of those players above that I listed, and they are all engaged in work slowdowns. It is to CJ's credit that he has not gone that route. Bless him. wookie
I don't see anyone, not even his agent, slowing CJ down. The guy is all about being the best WR in the league and he knows that takes A) being on the field during the season, and B.) working your butt off in the off season.Chad will be fine, and Rosenhaus will help him with publicity and endorsements, which will help the Bengals get noticed a bit more.Chad has been the most visible Bengal in a long time already, being part of the NFL Challange, Pro Bowler and Skills competition winner, being in the commercial with other players for the Big Brother spoof, and routinely giving the ESPN pundits something to talk about Sunday nights. Maybe his agent can get him a sneaker deal or something, I'd go out and buy a pair of Orange and Black CJ's.
