Bryan Kehl, LB, BYU - who?

I'm not that familiar with him, but on the one occasion I did see him, the East-West Shrine game, I thought he stood out....especially in pass coverage. Most scouting reports say he's very athletic and a very high character guy with lots of experience playing special teams. 4th or 5th rounder?

Edit: Path to the draft featured OLB's today, calling it a very weak class. Kehl wasn't listed amongst the top 5 but he was featured. Mayoch claimed he was a solid 3rd round pick.

Lack of o-line interest in centers and guards concerns me.

In more ways than one this is one of the weakest classes for centers in quite some time. Due to the fact that all of the highest ranked centers lack size and power many NFL teams are said to be more interested in lightly regarded offensive tackles and guards who could be shifted inside. (Pedro Sosa, Jeremy Zuttah, Fernando Velasco, etc.)

For those of you that were not familiar with Brian Kehl.

From what I have seen of him he looked dam good.

He is 6-2 1/2 -242lbs. 4.56 40yd dsh

Pro day #'s» LB Bryan Kehl (6-2 3/8, 237): Ran the 40 in 4.56 and 4.57, had a 35-inch vertical jump, 10-foot, 2-inch long jump, 4.18 short shuttle, 6.54 cone drill. Had a very good workout.

in '07 his numbers were 91tkls 11 1/2 tkl for loss 4 sacks 1 forced fumble 3 int.

Among things listed in his profile are-secure wrap up tackler-gives effort to the wistle-plays well in zone coverage-high football intellegence-great worth ethic-SOLID CHARACTER-Has a passion for the game-solid special teams contribitor

He sounds Marvin had someone make him to order.

I have to say that one LB that I was disapointed that was not on the list is

Curtis Johnson -Clark -Atlanta

We CANNOT pass up this opportunity to field the all Johnson team!

Chris Johnson, RB, East Carolina

Tyrell Johnson, S, Arkansas St.

Curtis Johnson, OLB, Clark-Atlanta

Brian Johnson, DE, Garder-Webb

Josh Johnson, MLB, Marshall

If only we could get Riall and Landon back! We need to dump that bum Carson Palmer so that we can open the door for Phenom QB Josh Johnson out of San Diego (how cool would it be to have 2 Josh Johnson's on the team!)

In all seriousness Chris, Tyrell, Curtis, and Brian are all great prospects I would love to have on the Bengals.
