Can't wait to see the new uni's! :player: Little nervous about the new uniforms. I remember the last time we got new ones and went to the stripes. For those of you who don't or won't remember, lets just say it took a while for them to catch on. Somebody's comment about the new ones " taking a little getting used to " worries me. The Bucaneers in their skin tight sharkskin pants look like some of the most dangerous gay guys on the planet, and Sapp just humiliated himself when he went skiping through the other teams lines while wearing them. I don't mind them modernizing a little, ..... but if the " B " is any indication of what we have to look forward to, then I'm worried. ND Bengal 76 Posted April 17, 2004 Report Share Posted April 17, 2004 im probably in the minority but,i still much prefer the original blue collar style uniforms.when the stripes came out it was a radical change and turned alot of heads in the beginning as it was really ahead of its time.i can only imagine in my wildest what these new outfits are gonna look like. good thing there putting down synthetic turf for a playing surface,wouldnt want to get them dirty.sure wish the bengals could have the same intensity on winning at football as they do for a fashion show. I recognize with the team mascot being a tiger and all, it wouldnt be as easy a Buc. Just interested in what everyone thought.....I remember when Marvin surprised the team with the black pants last year it was cause several of the players had interest in going "Black" with the uniform...so perhaps Barbarian is onto something with the reversal of the helmet. In a related note, I was watching Channel 9's news tonight about Dillon, and they had the"old" Bengal head logo but they had "Cincinnati Bengals" written in the new font beneath it. It actually looked pretty cool. Maybe they will use that for the players names on the unis.And on NFL.com, they now have the new "B" for the team icon of the Bengals replacing the tiger head.
