Stripes Posted February 1, 2006 Report Posted February 1, 2006 I don't think Carson will get any consideration for the Comeback Player of the Year award considering the timing of his injury... in the final game of the season. He still led the NFL in touchdowns and completion percentage, and that will keep him ineligible. He'll be a great MVP possibility every year though. Quote

Kazkal Posted February 2, 2006 Author Report Posted February 2, 2006 Tedy Bruschi is why I figured he'd be up for comeback player of the year (coming back from a major injury like this) Quote
andybren Posted February 2, 2006 Report Posted February 2, 2006 Personally, I've always thought Comeback POY was a little too much like a Miss Congeniality award. Who'd want that? Quote
