Kirkendall
I need help here. Does the terms LOOSE and TIGHT refer to the cars' ability to drive straight or not? Such as the steering?
kevnz
Loose means your rear end hits the wall, tight means that your front end hits the wall. Being loose means the rear end won't grip, the back end slides out from you if you don't slow down enough. Being tight means the front end doesn't grip and you can't turn going into a corner without slowing way down....

Josh, You'll find your better drivers can handle these car conditions better than others. They happen to all drivers. What usually happens to weaker drivers is they'll cause the "The Big One". This "Big One" is completely different than "The Big One" the your wives and girlfriends are so fond of! This big one describes the inevitable big wreck that happens from cars running so close together, and one diver loses control, hitting the wall or another car, and taking out a good portion of the field with him. Kirkendall
Are they words for the reaction of a car, or an actual component of the car that's either loose or tight? Billy - They call me the nations sensation!

Billy - They call me the nations sensation! The reaction, or the way it drives is the reason for the term. No part on the car is left loose for any reason, Mr. Sensation!!
