walzav29
I would also say that the Redskins are comparable to the Steelers. The Cowboys had a rough 80's, and the Redskins were good for a long time. The 1991 Cowboys lost in the playoffs that year, while the Redskins went on to win their 3rd Super Bowl in 10 years. In 1992 the Cowboys dynasty began, and the Redskins fluttered. I think the same thing will happen with Cincy. I dont know if the Steelers will crumble, but I know that these Bengals are alot like those Cowboy's. Consider 3 things. The coaches, the QB's and the youth. Stripes
This is a comparison that I've seen people make since the middle of the 2004 season. I don't think it is deserved until we can prove we're a force to be reckoned with on defense. If we can make a good jump on that side of the ball in 2006, and Carson Palmer returns quickly enough to earn us a playoff spot, then sure we'll be as big a Superbowl threat as anyone.
