Stripes
Sure, this franchise has seemed to follow trend setters like the Rams, Colts, and Red Sox.But it is nothing more than a trend. Our time will come. Hell, the SEAHAWKS will be playing in the Superbowl in two weeks!
The_Next_Big_Thing
Damn, I must be cursed too.Broken Nail!Paper Cut!Reading some idiots post about curses!Come on, it's not the end of the world, it's the beginning. Palmer will be back. We really didn't expect to get that far into the playoffs this year anyway. The next two to three years are the start of OUR time. I'm not the one comparing a broken nail and paper cut to a blown out knee. No, but I've had some mishaps over the last decade too. Perhaps I should put in my car wreck and my abduction and robbery at gunpoint. I'm not cursed though, and neither our our Bengals.David Klingler was a product of no offensive line, not a curse.Akilli's myth was a product of a lack of a scouting department and a poor judgement, not a curse.Corey Dillon didn't break his contract and get a ring, he was sent packing for a future probowler at Free Safety in Madieu Williams and because we had Rudi Johnson who has broken nearly every record the jerk Dillon set here in Cincinnati. Besides, we also were able to draft Chris Perry in a running back heavy draft the same year, and he could very well be the next James Brooks. There's no curse here, except you being cursed with ignorance of the facts. Of course that's what curses are.... Ignorance embodied without explanation and simply called "curses".
andybren
Dude, you've been beating this dead horse for the past two weeks. We get it, you think the Bengals are cursed. Adding more threads with the same tired, pathetic bellyaching isn't going to change anything. Either for the team or for you. Move on. Please. jbx182
not bad luck, bad ownership. like the red sox, who were "cursed", but were the last team to integrate, no wait...that was bad ownership, too. look at the ariz cards, that's not bad luck. bad ownership! the clippers! the blackhawks!you make your own breaks. jrandom42
You want cursed? You REALLY want cursed?! Try being a Cardinals fan. They got moved three times, they've had Hall of Fame players on really bad teams, they've had great coaches who had the misfortune to run into dynasties, and they haven't been in a single Championship game since they left Chicago in the '40s, and have had only ONE playoff appearance since 1987.Now THAT'S cursed!! We were 11-5, won the AFC North, and had the misfortune of an injury. We are certainly not the first to have an injury problem that ended the seson. You want cursed? look no further than the Saints... the track record, combined with this past year speaks for itself.
