NJ29
Antonio Cromartie declared for the draft, coming off of a torn ACL, which will definately lower his draft stock. If he falls to round 3 or 4, is there a possibility that we take a chance on this guy? He was probably a first round pick before the injury. Maybe he is even the interchangeable corner/safety who can tackle that we're looking for.
BlainThePain
I could see us drafting a corner anywhere in the draft, even in the first round. It all just depends on if Marvin likes him or not.
eclipse99t
No way Cromartie slips to 3. He could go as early as the first 15 picks, but no way he drops past the mid/late second round, even with that injury. He's the best corner PERIOD in college football when he's healthy. He has the potential to be a shutdown corner, and can make plays on any part of the field. We should definitely take him in the second round if he's there, and if he looks healthy at the combine, I would be very happy to even take him in the first, becuase CB is a huge need for this team, and especially accentuated becuase of crappy safety play. Tory is very old, and this guy would be a perfect step up with Deltha to form one of the best CB combos in the league.
ArmyBengal
Agree with most of all this and will say, as I'm sure will be said by many here MANY times, free agency will determine a lot !!! That said, I would love to see Cromartie in Stripes...WHODEY !!!
