NJ29
I hope to one day be pissed off because the Bengals failed to win a super bowl...3- Crowd- bad, INDY fans are too soft. These people rarely make noise when the other teams offense is on the field- its like they are trying to be nice to the other team. I have never seen so many Pitt fans in the crowd, at least last week at PBS they got barked at a bit, the INDY fans treated them like family. One sign that a Pitt fan brought said it all "I got my tickets from a Colts fan". Could actually hear chants of "Defense" when Manning and the Colts had the ballYeah, they're way to quiet. That's why they've even been accused of adding crowd noise though some speakers That's ridiculous. schweinhart
I suppose the real question is: What is more annoying... never making the playoffs? or Always making the playoffs with real hope of making the SB and never getting there? As Bengal fans we are still thankful to even smell the playoffs. Give us 5 or 6 years of playoff loses and maybe we won't be so thankful just to make it. I don't know...The most annoying thing is getting to the Super Bowl and not winning it. It's extremely hard to get there to begin with and to fall short is supremely aggravating. This year really looked like the Bengals year in the way things kept falling into place. To see this year collapsed the way it was is still mind numbing.Next year should be tougher just to reach the playoffs but the pieces are in place to expect an annual run for the post-season the way Indy has. If that happens, hopefully the results will be better than this year and what Indy has experienced.

ArmyBengal
Losing this year, especially the way we did has been a much easier experience to deal with that either of the two Superbowl losses. I was at the first with my Dad and I still remember that feeling to this very day. I was 10 years old and the empty feeling of all the buildup only to lose still gets me angry... GOD I HATE THE 49er's !!! WHODEY !!!
