dgrace4whodey Posted January 10, 2006 Report Posted January 10, 2006 I tore my ACL and both meniscus earlier this year. Had cadaver surgery on April 14, was off 1 crutch in 10 days, walking in two weeks, and lifting weights within first week. I did not have the type of rehab that an athlete much less a professional athlete would have, I went on a golf trip in August, and I was getting my good leg/bad leg comparison in (functional evaluation) in mid November (7 months) This is the test to let you get back to full strength activity. I think the 7-8 month physically will be a good estimate, the problem is and this is for a professional athlete or your average joe like myself is the mental toughness to get back out there and set up the drop back pass for 65 yards again, not be scared, and complete the pass, if you see where I'm going with this.I think for Carson to get back at it both mentally/physically he'll be ready to go and not thinking about it around the 1st of October, which is roughly 4 games.
