Kirkendall Posted January 9, 2006 Report Posted January 9, 2006 Hey fellas. I know everyone is a little ticked, and there are excuses up everyone's sleeves. But I ask, as a mod, with backing from my co-mods, to keep it under control. Observe the following:- If posts are made up with personal pissed off rants, they will be closed. However, if you're pissed, but keep it cool, calm, and clean, then they will not be. - If, at any point, you make our jobs harder then you will be suspended for the next 24 hours. - ATTN: Steelers fans. We know you won. And you're welcome to talk trash, provided it's in the Smack forum. Simple enough? We're all disappointed fans. Don't give us the perceptions of being dicks and don't give other fans the perception we are sore losers. Thanks guys. Quote

Believe me when I say that, being a Steelers fan, a playoff loss is the worst kind of loss you can endure. I know because we have a lot of experience losing in the playoffs. I was having fun around here this week talking football and trash but I do think the Bengals have great years ahead of them and next season will come sooner than you think. If it's any consolation, I don't think the Steelers will beat Indy, and I don't think the Bengals, Palmer or not, would have beaten them either in the AFCC game. It's not either of our years. Quote

skyline Posted January 9, 2006 Report Posted January 9, 2006 Folks, let me emphasize that this applies to both groups of fans. Bengals fans are in no way exempt from acting with decency. Quote
