Recommended Posts

Top 5 Rated Runningbacks by: ME

1. DeAngelo Williams-Memphis...This guy is See being the next LT. Way Underrated, best all-around RB

2. LenDale White-USC... Overshadowed by Bush, but White rushed for 1302 yards for 24 TDS last season.

3. Laurence Maroney-Minnesota...Very good running back who will do very will in the PRO Level

4. Reggie Bush-USC...Reminds me off Peter Warrick, Flashy in college, but not in the PROs. Not an complete back.

5. Joseph Addai-LSU...A cat quick runner with good running skills. He should have some success in the NFL

In my book the top two have to be Bush and Williams. We'll see how Bush develops as a pro, I disagree with your assessment. After those two, there seems to be a pretty big dropoff. If White declares, he should be a solid player, in the mold of a Pittsburgh kind of running back.

Robert Smith gave his take on LenDale on one of them ESPN shows and basically said he should stay in school another year to improve his running skills. Smith said he needs the most work on his footwork. But LenDale's definitely a pounder at the college level.

I'd rate the backs at:

1. Reggie Bush

2. DeAnglo Williams

3. Laurence Mulroney

4. Jerious Norwood

5. Joseph Addai

6. Michael Bush

7. Cedric Humes

8. LenDale White

9. DonTrell Mooore

10. Taurean Henderson

One guy who I haven't seen this year who I'd like to is Jerome Harrision of Washington St.
