duus Posted January 6, 2006 Report Posted January 6, 2006 Looking back through the years, I think that is their home playoff record. Am I right? As best I've heard, the Steelers road playoff record is not that great, and I know that Cowher is winless in such scenarios. Quote
walshfan Posted January 6, 2006 Report Posted January 6, 2006 It could be Duus but you have to remember that those wins came with former civil war veterans playing for us!!!!This is the New Era Bengals..... Quote
rudi32 Posted January 6, 2006 Report Posted January 6, 2006 It is 5-1. Two wins each in 81 and 88. The loss was in 82 to the Jets.Sadly, the Bengals have yet to win a playoff game on the road. Quote
Stripes Posted January 6, 2006 Report Posted January 6, 2006 There are a ton of conflicting stats like this going into this game. Cowher is 0-3 on the road in the playoffs, yet the Steelers are 6-0 against division opponents in playoff games. The Bengals 5-1 at home in the playoffs, yet the Steelers have won in Cincinnati each of the last four seasons. Quote
