derekshank Posted January 6, 2006 Report Share Posted January 6, 2006 In the NFL it doesn't really seem like history repeats itself... but here are a couple interesting stats I saw.The Steelers haven't won a road playoff game since 1989... that's a long time (I know, because it was one of the last seasons the Bengals were decent)The Steelers had only 23 giveaways this season (pretty damn good)... and Ben threw only 9 INT's. However... 6 of their turnovers were against the Bengals (more than 25%) and 4 of Ben's INT's were against the Bengals (almost half)...AND in the Steelers 2 post-season games last year, Ben threw 5 INT's and they had 7 turnovers, finishing with a -6 turnover ratio.Just some things to try to boost the confidence of the worrying Bengals fans.
