walzav29 Posted January 5, 2006 Report Posted January 5, 2006 I don't understand the double standard when it comes to Cincy. Why doesn't matter that the Seahawks lost to the Packers? The Colt's barely escaped the mighty Cardinals to escape going 0-3, and last year Philly lost to the Rams and the lowly Bengals before going to the Super Bowl. All 3 are resting and have nothing to play for. The Bengal's? They just suck. Quote
Stripes Posted January 5, 2006 Report Posted January 5, 2006 The Bengals first team defense was devoured by Larry Johnson, and those other teams you mentioned didn't lose at home to the Bills the week prior. Quote
walzav29 Posted January 5, 2006 Author Report Posted January 5, 2006 I understand that the Chargers are the greatest team in the history of football (to not make the playoffs), but the Colts lost at home. It doesn't matter. Quote
Stripes Posted January 5, 2006 Report Posted January 5, 2006 I'd agree that the Bengals have caught too much flak for their performances the last two weeks, I am just trying to explain it from an unbiased media-man perspective. Quote
walzav29 Posted January 5, 2006 Author Report Posted January 5, 2006 Got ya. It's funny to that everyone is saying that if the Steelers get an early lead they're thru, and they trailed by 7 twice in the last game. It shows how little all of these hot-shots watch Cincy. That 1st Steeler game was the must unBengal like game of the year. Quote
walshfan Posted January 5, 2006 Report Posted January 5, 2006 Im thinking of the second half of the season in which theyre giving up 30 points a game.... Have offenses figured out how to attack this team o Quote
cincy9275 Posted January 5, 2006 Report Posted January 5, 2006 i am not worried about the last 2 weeks screw what everyone is saying there are just guessing and hoping they are right. it seems to me that reporters and sports anchorman or what ever try to always put us down they have for years . so f#*k'em. we will be fine Quote
