LB51 Posted January 5, 2006 Report Posted January 5, 2006 Who cares what Hal Morris......errr......Sean casey has to say! Quote
Stripes Posted January 5, 2006 Report Posted January 5, 2006 Sean Casey isn't a Red anymore, so he has much more freedome to make this statement. I doubt he'd have done the same had he never been traded. Quote
walshfan Posted January 5, 2006 Report Posted January 5, 2006 I suspect he wouldnt... His ties are to the Pittsburgh area though so its logical he'd still be a Stool fan.... Quote
duus Posted January 5, 2006 Report Posted January 5, 2006 When I read this story yesterday I thought it was the dumbest waste of article space in a newspaper that I have ever seen. Seriously, what in the world does it matter that Casey is not a Bengals fan? Do you see what they are doing here? Reaching to ensure that a new Pirate player is not rooting for the Steelers opponent? Can this really matter? Does this really bring comfort to Pittsburghers? Sadly ... it probably does. Quote
The_Next_Big_Thing Posted January 5, 2006 Report Posted January 5, 2006 Why do we care if some baseball player is a fan?Should I say Albert Einstein wasn't a fan either? Does that mean anything more or less? Quote
duus Posted January 5, 2006 Report Posted January 5, 2006 Why do we care if some baseball player is a fan?Should I say Albert Einstein wasn't a fan either? Does that mean anything more or less? You see, in the Burgh, it is CRITICAL that no one enter this city that is not a Steelers fan. This article is just more proof of this obnoxious attitude. Why in the world would such an article be necessary if this is not the case? It is. Quote
