derekshank Posted January 5, 2006 Report Posted January 5, 2006 Well... Matt Groening doesn't write the jokes. The Simpsons are America's way of making fun of something.. so being mentioned isn't exactly a good thing. Quote

Stripes Posted January 5, 2006 Report Posted January 5, 2006 there is a springfield in practically every state... you ever take geography in high school.. guess not. In all fairness, I did take plenty of geography in high school, and not once did we ever review the number of Springfields in America. Quote
The_Next_Big_Thing Posted January 5, 2006 Report Posted January 5, 2006 there is a springfield in practically every state... you ever take geography in high school.. guess not. In all fairness, I did take plenty of geography in high school, and not once did we ever review the number of Springfields in America. We didn't concern ourselves with the number of Springfields in America when I was in high school either. But then again, maybe that's what they are teaching people like walshfan in school now. Where can he find a Springfield, and where IS South Park? After all, it seems like kids today can't identify where any states that don't border their own are, so perhaps the curriculum was dumbed down for them. Quote
BengalsOwn Posted January 5, 2006 Report Posted January 5, 2006 Wasn't Matt Groening from the Dayton Ohio area, and isn't she a female? Quote
