jjakq27 Posted January 2, 2006 Report Posted January 2, 2006 need to request it off bengals vs broncos would be saturday right? I am sure it will be a late afternoon game since it will be in Denver. But they probably won't announce the dates and times until Sunday night or Monday morning. Quote
Whur CHad At? Posted January 2, 2006 Report Posted January 2, 2006 Prob. Late Sat. this time...but not worried about it, we gotta get passed Pitt first. Quote
Kazkal Posted January 2, 2006 Author Report Posted January 2, 2006 Prob. Late Sat. this time...but not worried about it, we gotta get passed Pitt first. As I said I needed to "request" the day off and I have to do it before this wensday...So even if the bengals lost I rather request it off and be safe rather then not and miss it if they do beat pitts. Whur CHad At? Posted January 2, 2006 Report Posted January 2, 2006 Just request it off anywayz, if the steelers win, it will be pretty funny to watch them get raped and embarrssed by Denver. SO if I were you, I would stay home, or go to a bar and watch it, it will be a funny show! Quote

mule99 Posted January 2, 2006 Report Posted January 2, 2006 The second weekend works on a rotating schedule between the NFC and AFC so that FOX and CBS get a balance every other year. Based on this rotation, this year will be:Saturday4:30pm - NFC game8:00pm - AFC gameSunday1:00pm - AFC game4:30pm - NFC gameI would normally say that whoever plays the Colts (NE-IND or PIT-IND) would be the Saturday night primetime game. But because the Broncos are in MST, they can't play on Sunday at 1pm ET. Therefore, my prediction is the Denver game is Saturday night and the Indy game is on Sunday. I believe the NFL will announce the game times sometime on Monday or Tuesday of this week. Quote

I think the Broncos are overrated as well, but they are the 2nd seed for a reason. They beat a lot of good teams this year. For a Bengals or Steelers fan to say they are undeserving of their perch is just dumb. Quote
