scott91575 Posted December 23, 2005 Report Posted December 23, 2005 The most immediate is the Rudi factor...When Rudi goes for 80+ yards: 10-0Under 80: 1-3Over 20 carries: 9-0Under 20 carries: 2-3(yes, I know, when a team is losing they run less)Now to Palmer...Over 100 rating: 9-2Under 100: 2-1Over 250 yards passing: 6-1Under 250 yards passing: 5-2Zero interceptions: 5-11 interception: 5-12 interceptions: 1-1More than 35 throws: 3-2Less than 35: 8-1Random others on offense...When Chad scores: 5-2When TJ scores: 6-0When Rudi scores: 7-1When Chad gets 80+: 6-2When TJ gets 80+: 3-0Biggest one...Lost the turnover battle: 0-0Tied: 3-3Won: 8-0I didn't touch on defensive yardage, but I think the TO battle is the key on that one.Seems like the age old arguments apply as usual. buck3y3d Posted December 23, 2005 Report Posted December 23, 2005 I didn't realize that we have not lost the turnover battle all year.If it stays this way, we could be partying in Detroit. Quote
Stripes Posted December 23, 2005 Report Posted December 23, 2005 Yeah I hadn't realized that either. Good stuff. If we can keep up the takeaway frenzy in the postseason, then we have a great shot at winning the AFC. Quote
bengalindian Posted December 23, 2005 Report Posted December 23, 2005 Wow, you really must be bored. But hey, I can't say anything, I'm listening to the UC-UD game on the computer. GO FLYERS!!! Quote

Stripes Posted December 23, 2005 Report Posted December 23, 2005 Here is another important win-loss tidbit I found.Since the beginning of the 2000 season, the Bengals are 27-19 in games when their head coache's name has been Marvin Lewis. In games with coaches with other names during this time frame, the Bengals are 12-36. Quote

Without him I think some of the young guys never make it, fortunately for them, and us, we have Marvin. In Marvin We Trust!!!! Quote
