cmidy
The colts may lose to Seattle and although their last game is against Arizona, look for the colts reserve players against Arizona's reserve players. An exhibition game. Look at their exhibition record this year.Aug 6 @Atlanta Lost 21-27 Aug 13 Buffalo Lost 10-17 Aug 20 Chicago Lost 17-24 Aug 27 @Denver Lost 24-37 Sep 2 @Cincinnati Lost 0-38 Yup 0-5!!This definitely proves exhibition games mean nothing, but if the last game of the season is an exhibition game, well look what happened to them this past August. PMThor
Now that they lost their first game, this is a non issue. They have home field throughout. These next two games mean absolutely nothing to them outside of keeping the starters healthy. So I could see them going 0-2. It won't happen though. They are that good, even their backups are going to beat Arizona.
Stripes
Yeah, the remainder of the Colts season means no more than possibly affecting Seattle's playoff seeding, and Arizona's draft position.
jamesbrooks21
Yeah, with Indy having home-field locked up this means absolutely nothing.
Jonboat
I'd be a little concerned though about the starters not playing for what a month or so in game situations. If I recall right, after the preseason & sitting the starters they came out flat the first couple of games but their Def carried them. Didn't the Clowns give them a scare I think it was the first game ?
indybengalsfan72
They need to be concerned with New England in the 2nd Round. Since everyone is healthy, except for the DBs, they are going to be tough to beat, especially if their OL is as vulnerable as they were against San Diego. Although, I can see New England's defense having a very tough time against our offense, as our line has been very tough all year.
cmidy
I truly feel that Arizona's starters are probably better than the Colts reserve starters. Maybe loss # 3And the game with Seattle means home-field throughout the NFC playoffs and at Seattle. Chalk that up as lost #2 for the colts. I agree, I don't think all the talk that Indianapolis's backups could beat the Cardinals' starters is accurate. I don't even think it would be close. cmidy
I told you so. The colts are one step away from 13-3.
