He's bummed out that he'll be missing this weeks game because it would've been his first trip back to Michigan. He talked a bit about the injury and said this week is the only week he's out for sure. Then he and the trainers will take it from there.

Also was asked if he'd be happy in the same role for the next couple of years (3rd down, catching out of backfield). He said as long as they're winning there's nothing to complain about.

They also talked a bit about Michigan football.

I'm encouraged. When I watched replays of the injury I asumed it was a high ankle sprain and guessed he'd be out 4-6 weeks. Based soley upon the fact that the Bengals have refused to shelve Perry, a move that would open up a much needed roster spot, combined with telling Perry that they'd take things week to week....I'm cautiously optimistic.

BTW, it's great hearing Perry say things that imply he's accepted his role with the Bengals. That being, the guy who carries Rudi's jock.

I agree that it's great hear Perry accept his role w/ the Bengals, majority of RB's are not man enough to accept their role.GROIIIDAYTON,Talk smack again and I'll walk next door and pimp smack your tiny A** .

Was anyone else scared by the phrase 'Then he and the trainers will take it from there'? He is only out for sure this week, because the medical staff has not had a chance to totally f*$ck it up yet!
