skyline Posted December 7, 2005 Report Posted December 7, 2005 Thanks.I love how they stick the little Cleveland Roster move in there at the end Quote
derekshank Posted December 7, 2005 Report Posted December 7, 2005 I'm so sick of the Colts winning the superbowl as a foregone conclusion. Why even play the rest of the season if it's already been decided? The fact is that things no one expects happen... so we have as good a chance as anyone. The beginning of the Patriots dynasty started in a year that no one expected them to make it to the playoffs... let alone the superbowl... let alone beat the mighty Rams. This year very well could be the beginning of our dynasty... because we'll only get better from here as we add better defense in the years to come.P.S. I'm being a homer today... let me be. Quote
Spain Posted December 7, 2005 Report Posted December 7, 2005 This superbowl is ours, chill palmers better than Peyton. Peyton was Smarter but him and CJ scouted those boys and replicated it. Like Rudi says it all good. Quote
Bengalbob Posted December 8, 2005 Report Posted December 8, 2005 Thank you Tampa Bay, thank you Cleveland! I didn't realize that the Brownies had Marvin in their cross hairs too . . ."Munoz attributes the franchise's turnaround to Lewis. The former Baltimore Ravens defensive coordinator - who the Browns were about to hire in 2001 until Butch Davis changed his mind after the Browns upped their money offer - has been exceptional in every phase of his job. jjakq27 Posted December 8, 2005 Report Posted December 8, 2005 Marvin was briefly a member of the Browns staff at the end of the 1995 season. A few weeks later they officially moved to Baltimore and became the Ravens. I know it is a technicality but.... I really didn't know that the new Browns wanted him for their head coach though. Quote
HoosierCat Posted December 8, 2005 Author Report Posted December 8, 2005 Honestly, right now I don't know how Marvin doesn't get coach of the year honors. What he has done in Cincy is amazing. We're talking hall-of-fame level amazing here, at least so far. He comes into the absolutely worst franchise in the league, one that is 12 years removed from a winning season, and has managed one .500 year in all that time. And in his 3 years as HC has had no losing seasons and is on the cusp on a division championship. He has to date compiled a 25-19 record as HC of the Cincinnati Bengals! However this year turns out -- and I dont expect a collapse, but even if it's one and done -- he's been magnificent. Quote
