derekshank Posted December 6, 2005 Report Posted December 6, 2005 I've heard a lot of analyists like to split the season into 4 quarters... and I also remember before the season started, when we were trying to predict our record, it was easier in sets of four... so here's how we've done so far.1st quarter 4-0 (@Cle, Min, @Chi, Hou)2nd quarter 2-2 (@Jac, @Ten, Pit, GB)3rd quarter 3-1 (@Bal, Ind, Bal, @Pit)That 2nd quarter was a little disappointing... but before the season started we all agreed that the 3rd quarter was the most important... and 3-1 is nothing to complain about. We are hitting our stride now... so don't be suprised if we go undefeated in the 4th quarter (Cle, @Det, Buf, @KC).We've had a successful season so far, and have exceeded most expectations (most of us picked the Bengals around 10-6... maybe 11-5)... let's keep it up. AMC Posted December 6, 2005 Report Posted December 6, 2005 I don't think Marvin will let them let up one bit. But even though the games LOOK easier you know all four games will take maximal effort. I as well think we could win out but all 4 opponents will be gunning for us, ESPECIALLY the Browns...This is not the time to overlook any team...Marvin will keep on top of that! Quote
walshfan Posted December 6, 2005 Report Posted December 6, 2005 coaches speak about months specifically December wins..winning in Pitts was a great way to start off December. Quote
walzav29 Posted December 6, 2005 Report Posted December 6, 2005 This is where the past experience's should help. If they have already forgotten the Browns and Suggs from 2 years ago, they are nuts. Quote
Stripes Posted December 6, 2005 Report Posted December 6, 2005 I think we'll win out as well, and I honestly see no challenges whatsoever until Kansas City. The Browns play us tough, but they just don't have the talent to keep up with us. The Lions are the worst team we have left to face, losing that game is unfathomable. The Bills have our number, but this time their little streak against us should be crushed with Losman interceptions and big time offense. Quote
NYBengalfan Posted December 6, 2005 Report Posted December 6, 2005 I had said 12-4 before the season, I sure hope that I am wrong...................... 13-3!!!!!!!!!!I think that we should be 12-3, the last game should be tougher than the next three combined, but it is still very winnable. : WHO-DEY Quote
jungleman Posted December 6, 2005 Report Posted December 6, 2005 i boldly said 13-3 and unless we have things wrapped up with the #2 seed i will be correct. if we have it locked up i think marvin sits everyone. Quote

That prediction is looking pretty good now. I think KC will be out of the race by the time we go to KC, so it shouldn't be do or die. Even if it is, I am not really impressed with Trent and the boyz. SD should beat Denver, so we have a real shot at #2.Who would have thunk it. Quote
