PMThor
This was an incredibly great win for our Bengals. But we need focus now more than ever. We must take care of business. Teams will not roll over just because we beat the Steelers. Some teams would have a letdown after this weekend. I know that Coach won't allow that, but perspective is needed. Sure, great win. But nothing is assured yet. Yet.
Kazkal
my thoughts we gotta keep winning games were suppossed to we HAVE TO beat Browns, lions and Bills and hopfully pull off a win vs the chiefs at arrowhead
redsfan2
Every game we have left on the schedule is a BIG GAME !Next week is another divisional game ..... win that one and we have 2 sweeps and a split. 5 and 1 in your division is a good thing. Looking at the comp, its possible for the Bengals to win out. Browns are trying hard to get it together but just don't have the horse yet ..... just like us in Marvin year 1. Bills and Lions are in complete disarray. Bills were violated and demoralized by the Dolphins today and the Lions are too busy eating each other to worry about an opponent. Chiefs have a good team, but we can beat them. They are also the last game of the season. If we have nothing to gain by winning this game, I say we keep Palmer and the rest of the starters in a Cincinnati " safe house " and don't let them out till the playoffs. CBin2k7
I think out of all the games, next Sunday is the most important. We have got to beat the Browns, in order to maintain our tie breaker over the Steelers we must beat the Browns. Cincy beats Cleveland next week, the division crown is coming home to Cincy, after that we are playing for a first round bye.
buck3y3d
Right now we are playing for a BYE.We should definitely win the next 3, but the game in KC could be very important.KC beat Denver today and Arrowhead is probably the toughest place to win of any stadium. I don't see the Bengals running away with this game, especially with our defense. A win will be tough but possible.
turningpoint
Well Braylon edwards is pretty much going to be out next week if not the year.So if we somehow lose this game it would be the upset of the century.I can bet you we are favored by 14+.btw we can actually clinch the division this sunday with a bengals win and a steelers lose or tie.or with a bengals tie and a steelers loss.( i think this will do it)
redsfan2
Have to agree with the overall theme of " staying focused' ......... Knowing the coach, he's probably telling the team that they " still haven't done anything yet. "They could have and probably should have beaten the Jags as well .... but were starting to believe their own hype .... and ... well you know the rest. One game at a time. These are the same Browns we had to beat in a shootout last year ..... The Bills have managed to beat us ( when they shouldn't have ) what ?? the last 3 years ???? The Lions ??? Yeah we ought to beat the Lions with second stringers ... BUT ... there's still a lot of football to be played between now and the end of the year. Keep winning .............. keep enjoying. We've waited a long time for this and I want to savor every game left on the schedule.
Columbusbengal
my thoughts we gotta keep winning games were suppossed to we HAVE TO beat Browns, lions and Bills and hopfully pull off a win vs the chiefs at arrowheadWe definitely need to beat the Browns (Remember the Bengals first real shootout last year at PBS? It was the only game I got to last year and it was amazing). We also better beat the Lions. I'm not sure we have to beat the Chiefs (I'm also pretty sure it will be extremely difficult to do). The key is to not lose the national recognition we finally earned by beating a winning team by turning around and losing an important game to a mediocre team. KC is not a mediocre team and almost never loses at home so I don't think we'll be the favorites.probably should have beaten the Jags as well .... but were starting to believe their own hype .... and ... well you know the rest.I don't think they were "starting to believe their own hype." They had plenty of reason to lose that game other than that.Obviously Jacksonville is a very good team (same record as we have) and we were playing at their place with all the hype of Sunday night football in their favor. Finally, I believe that was one of the games Richie Braham was out (if not him, TJ). Richie is essential when playing a road game. The crowd can't effect the team nearly as much with him leading the O-line. We only lost by the three-point home field advantage. We'll beat them if we play again on a neutral field.
