Columbusbengal Posted December 12, 2005 Report Posted December 12, 2005 18,000 people have voted chad was covered today lmao alot of browns fans with no livesWell, he was covered, but he wasn't covered by any particular DB, which I think was the point of Chad's list. According to Carson, the Cleveland defense was designed to take the passing game away from the Bengals and was very successful. Of course, as is almost always the case when that happens, they couldn't do anything about the running game so the Bengals adjusted and ran (just like Indy did when the Browns did the same thing to them). kingwilly Posted December 12, 2005 Report Posted December 12, 2005 Bodden covered him. by definition, chad sad "Someone only needs to stop me once". He was defended in the end-zone, on the long pass and on an out pattern. The thorws were ok but the defender m ade the play.Credit to Bodden, even if his penalties cost them the field position for the kick.bottom line, Chad should should mark "Yes". Quote
jjakq27 Posted December 12, 2005 Author Report Posted December 12, 2005 Last night, Chad did say that he was covered therefore the answer is yes and they get the checkmark. Quote
jjakq27 Posted December 19, 2005 Author Report Posted December 19, 2005 I'd say Chad redeemed himself nicely yesterday. With two games remaining, he is within striking distance of the team records for receptions (100, Carl Pickens in 1995) with 84 and is nearly a lock to break his own record for receiving yardage (1355 yds.in 2003). He currently has 1260 yards receiving. Quote
