Does anyone think a college team could beat an NFL team?

I say HELL no! There is no possbile way that college kids no matter who that may be could match up against even the worst of NFL teams. I just wanted to get everyone's opinion on this because I have seen lately on some message boards that it would happen.

I read one that said USC would beat Cleveland. I did think it was funny, but anyone that knows football would agree that is just stupid. Cleveland held Peyton Manning and Co. to 13 points and USC gave up forty some points to Fresno State.

I agree, the answer is no. I remember all the jokes that the Buckeyes could beat the Bengals, but no. The main reason I think would be in the trenches. Even a bad NFL line will be loaded with athletes superior to those on a good college line.

The day a college team could actually beat ANY NFL team would be a sad day indeed. College players don't know enough, and I think that even a nation-wide college All-Star team could not beat an NFL team. No doubt about it.

I remember three season ago when we finished 2-14 (the last of the dark ages), I heard people saying miami could of beat us.....what a joke. I don't think the people who say this s**t are serious. It's more of a comment meant for embarassment (at least, for their sake, I hope it is).

I say NO, but if there were a closer game to be had between college and the NFL, that would have been the time because we SUCKED and Miami was pretty tough... I still say no though. Thank God the comparisons are no longer including the Bengals in that scenario !!! Thanks Marvin !!!
