Dan2330
What a godawful 2nd half, should of been able to put the Ravens away. Who for the Bengals was laying on the field on the last play of the game that looked like they were injured?
dcbengal1
When "good" teams win ugly, it's a sign they know how to win. Just accept it and move on, guys. This is a Ravens team that beat the Steelers once and came within one point of beating them twice--and that was with Rottenberger playing.I get the distinct impression more than a few Bengals were already daydreaming of Pittsburgh in the second half of this game. Let's hope they don't make the same mistake next week. Plus, Body and Bauman were not available. Might have made a difference in the nickel and dime packages....Bottom line, if we can score 27 points on teh Colts D and 42 on the Ravens, why can't we put up similar numbers against Pitt? It's stricly psychological.Make that 37 points on the Colts

BengalszoneBilly
Let's hope they don't make the same mistake next week.My response?Hope!?! Well let me tell you something my friend. Hope is a dangerous thing. Hope can drive a man insane!I don't know about you guy's, but I'm so tired of "hoping." Years and years of my hopes lay dashed into smithereens. First was '82, but one was easy to recover from. Then the big one hit in '88! Ugh. Ain't been the same since. Would it kill us to be able to break out some freakin' confidence for a change? I've got a buttload of that unused commodity laying around! Wow. That even rivaled my sisters "drama queen" performances! I actually have plenty of hope for the game, and somehow I'm not too worried even if the Bengals don't emerge with the win. I feel they will still finish with a winning record and make the playoffs. If they at least achieve that in 2005, then I will be satisfied with this team. Especially when looking back just a few years at some real hellacious 2-14 seasons!
